Okay. I have become addicted to Cathe Friedrich's workouts. I have been consistent for about 6 months and have seen tremendous results. Of course my diet has also changed. However, I cannot seem to lose the mid-section. It's like a small tire. My upper abs aren't bad. It's so discouraging. My belly fat is the only part of my body that I can't seem to decrease in size.

Any suggestions?

Hi Wendy! It is so frustrating isn't it? The thing you want to get rid of the most comes off last. After you have done everything to the best of your ability, your genetics hold the cards to the rest. But don't throw in the towel yet. The abs are slow to react and can take up to two years to follow the lead of the rest of your body. Also, make sure that your diet isn't making you to gassy. Many times the pooch is not fat as much as it is a digestion problem. Good luck!
