Well I'm not an expert on the subject, but I had the same problem. I've been working out faithfully for 3 years and was suck in a rut. I couldn't lose the middle(the handles and the poogie tummy). I thought a ate pretty clean, but I found out differently. I decided to try a 10 day herbal cleanse. On the cleanse you can't have any sugar, fats, cheese, dairy, vinegar, alcohol, soy sauce, white foods( pasta, bagels, bread with enriched flour, ect.), and alcohol. Whow was that an eye opener for me. In 10 days I lost 7lbs most of it in the midddle. I have read many articles saying you get good clean abs by eating clean and it is true. You know the weirdest thing is chocolate has always been my weak spot, but now that I have surgar out of my system I don't miss it. I hope this helps you.
