Beginner Rotation

I am a little nervous .. . this is my first time posting to Cathe's forums. Just looking for advice. I am not new to Cathe or working out . . . but I have not been working out on a regular basis. I am about to turn 40 and that does something to a woman. Your body changes and it gets harder and harder to get back in shape. Is it at all possible?

I started Cathe's beginner rotation about six weeks ago. I am not getting the results I had wished. My clothes are a little loose (not much). I try not to pay attention to the scale.
I tend to train like I am going to the Olympics and wear myself out. The beginner rotation has helped me moderately exercise . . . get back into shape.

Did this happen to you? . . . Is it 40? . I was wondering should I up my cardio. I feel like the beginner rotation is less cardio and more weight training. I am just wondering if anybody has any advice on tweaking the beginner rotation, so that I could see more of a fat loss.
