BCx2 HOLY HIPFLEXORS!!!!!

I just finished BCx2 and am feeling pumped and ready to hit the showers. My hip flexors are going to be reminding me of this for the next few days, woo hoo, did they work!!!! I am thrilled that I've done this and think it's fabulous that Cathe put the challenge out there for us. I know quite a few of you have done this, how did you feel the next day?

I'm not doing the August rotation but will definitely puruse it for more kick @$$ ideas. I swear I was a Kleidsdale horse in another life, I love to work hard}( :)

Great going Laurie!!!

I just did this one this morning myself-I thought there is no way I can do this twice-BUT I DID!!!!! It feels great to have accomplished this-talk about tough...:7 :7 :7

Kathy

That's awesome Kathy, nice to know someone else was toughing it out at the same time}( :) Here's a big, virtual (((((((((((((HIGH 5)))))))):) Isn't it amazing the things that we can do when we clear our mind of 'can't'. Savour that feeling of accomplishment, we have definitely earned it!:)

Hi Laurie...NICE to "see" you here! I am doing the August rotation but am several days behind everyone. I did the BootcampX2 yesterday and felt soooo very accomplished once I was done. I am thankful also for Cathe making a tough challenge this month. I am not as sore as I thought I would be but when I go to get up after sitting for a bit, it takes a couple seconds til I don't look like a 100 year old person trying to move! ;-) BTW, I love to see the Kleisdales when we go to the fairs. Next time I see them, I'll say hi to YOU! Ha!

Laurie...WAY TO GO!!!! I have to say to you lovely ladies doing BC twice!!! I looked at that in the rotation and said to myself...NO WAY!!! You all are crazy....but of course in a good way...give me a 20 mile trail run over BC twice anyday...http://smilies.sofrayt.com/sae/jogging.gif[/img] ...Carole

Carole, you've lost it, a 20 mile trail run over BC twice, oh no no no no!. I did my 5 mile run on Monday and couldn't do BC-doubles until today, I had to throw a P90X upper body in just to recover from knee/shin soreness of the run.

HI DEBBIE!!! (waves). I thought the BC-doubles would be torture and the first run through WAS, but the second seemed to fly by and was MUCH easier - felt loosened up and rarin' to go. (I think it's because my body was numb and my caffeine had kicked in :p :p :p ).

Isn't this rotation a blast guys!!!

Briee

Way to go ladies! Laurie, Kathy, Debbie and Briee! And you too Carole, 20 miles! Whoa! I like to run, but 20 miles at once?!

Briee, I think you're right the second time around was easier (not easy, but definitely easier). I feel that way about running too. It takes me a good 2 miles to really get warmed up, then I feel like I can run forever. OK, but not 20 miles! LOl!

Great job everyone! 2 weeks to go!

Dallas

Well, last week I was really looking forward to do BC twice. I did it today, but only once ;( . I did BC about 2 weeks ago and I would have been able to do it twice but I have my wisdom teeth really bugging me since three days and I have taken quite some Motrins, so I think that's what is slowing me down x( .
I can't wait to get them pulled on 8/23/05 }( so I am problem free!!!!

Kristine :)

Thanks everyone, knowing other's have done this and lived through the DOMS is quite comforting;-) I feel like you Deb, my legs are tight from my calves to my glutes, this old work horse is taking it pretty easy today. Carole, you said it right, we are crazy, I love a good measure of muscle soreness and the feeling of knowing that when presented with a challenge I can dig deep and rise to it. Now a 20 mile trail run, that's a challenge I don't know if I could EVER rise to. That would be me in a fetal heap heaving under a tree at about the 6 mile mark.:+

Briee and Dallas, I agree completely that the second round flew by and felt easier (until the end of cycle 6 when I started running out of steam that is). As I was doing the jacks, 1/4 jacks...of cylcle one I noticed that they definitely felt better that I was plenty warm and I could put more umphhh into them.

Kristine good luck with your wisdom teeth. You do extremely well to keep working out with tooth pain. Nice job to get through BC with that going on, let's not lose sight of how intense BC is as is.:)
