BC/ME bonus workout comments?

Has anyone done the Boot Camp/ Muscle Endurance combo workout? I fast forwarded through it to get an idea of what it was like, and it looks good, but I can't really get a feel of it. What did you think, vs. Bootcamp as-is?

hey Kathryn,

For me it was a tough workout. It is long but you know you have worked out afterwards. It seemed to really kept my heart rate up throughout the whole workout.

Hope this helps,

kim

Personally I wouldn't compare this so much to BC as consider this a spiced up ME. I really like the format of this workout and I do this as an alternative to ME rather than an alternative to BC. (There are only 4 cardio sections.) This is a really good blend of BC and ME. I like it. It's about 65 minutes in length. I don't know if I've helped you at all but I would highly recommend you give it a try and see what you think. :) Good leg workout variety!

My legs get more tired from this one than from ME! I think this is a great workout. The only bad thing is that it's not chaptered.

So Kathryn, did you do it? What did you think?

I think it's a nice blend. ME with cardio mixed in, and the leg work isn't so focused on leg presses

I did it, and I liked it! I agree that it's a nice blend. It really works the legs well. And pretty much everything else. And it's well sequenced.

And I hear you about the leg presses. Cathe seems to have gone 'leg press happy' for a while there. There's even a "leg press" premix on the ME menu!

I haven't done this one in a LONG time, but I used to use this premix a lot and I loved it. I do remenber thinking that a body part was either left out or underworked, but I don't remember which one.

I just did the BC/ME bonus combo for the first time and it kicked my butt. There are very few workout that totally exhaust my lower half and it took everything I had to get through this.

Just a great workout!

I consider this workout to be in the same boat as HSTA and HSChallenge, just without the step for the cardio portions. I think it could sub in a rotation for either of those workouts.

Wow, I used to Love this pre-mix and did it more than any ME or BC, but now I can't even remember it. LOL! I'll have to try it again.

This one looks great. I've had this series since it was released and have never done this combo. Looks more lower body "friendly", which is what I need because I've been neglecting that area for months. It's on the menu for Thursday.

Just did this one for the first time this morning.. WOW! My whole body was like jelly when I stopped.. I only did 59 minutes by my HRM, and I took a lot of breaks pausing the DVD, because I needed water bad!.. I stopped at the push ups, tried to do them on my knees and my arms gave out! My HRM said I burned 431 calories.. this is the most I have ever seen since using it for all my workouts!:7

This one is a killer. I also burn more than 400 cals. during this workout. I think I'll do this one on Wed. I better start mentally preparing myself:)
