OMG!! If you are a BBC period film freak like me. You will rent this series!! It has such a wonderful happy ending it actually gave me goosebumps!! Lots of drama of course and simply wonderful!

Tell me what you think.

Pam: I am a BBC freak too...I have a nice collection of my favs...but I have never heard of The Grand. I don't know how I cd hv missed it! I will definitely check it out, and thanks for the tip. BTW...what are your favs???

I love North and South right now. Cranford is also one to love.

Cheers ;)

I just went on Amazon and ordered part one:D. It will be perfect to watch since I am confined for a few weeks, having broken my arm/shoulder last week cycling:(

kiki: It looks pretty good...at least worth a watch anyway! My DS just called to see how i was doing and he said I should get one of "my" series to watch :D and it was only about ten bucks plus shipping on amazon :).

Cranford cracks me up BTW...from "sister does not like the word "suck", to the cat eating the precious lace and the remedy that follows!

Cranford is a hoot! I love it!! Gosh- I love almost all of them. I have'nt checked out North & South yet.... thank you for the suggestion! I've flirted with it - and Upstairs Downstairs but haven't dove in yet. Guess I'm gonna have to now!

So, let's see, here are a few in no particular order Wives & Daughters, Bramwell, Tenant of Widefield Hall, The Forsyth Saga, ANYTHING Jane Austen or Bronte, Bleak House... this list goes on and on. The Tudors of course - I own the entire collection now! :D

Tell me more of your favs, gals!! I'm always on the hunt for a new period flick.

Healthy, healing hugs your way, Tracy! What better way to be off of your feet than to watch as many BBC's as you can!

Pam

 PAM!!! Wives and Daughters! LOVE! And Jane Austen/Emily Bronte? No contest! Haven't seen Bleak House, though  ......Got some catchin up to do! :p

Pam you absolutely must see North and South (BBC--not American) w/ Richard Armitage...if you like those others, i think you wd love it! Also...have you seen Under the Greenwood Tree w/ Keeley Hawes? It's not as fav as N&S, but is enjoyable!

kiki: I have 3 versions of BBC Jane Eyre!!! Not such a fan of Bleak House...but I am glad I watched it still.

Can't wait to get The Grand...they've already shipped!

Hi Tracy- that must have been what I did - order the American version. Already added the BBC version to my Netflix q and will check out Under the Greenwood Tree!

Have fun at The Grand! :D

Thanks!
