BB 1&2 or Intensity 1&2 DVDs?

Hi everyone!

I'm just starting out on my grand Cathe DVD collection project and need some help. I have Slow & Heavy series, Pure Strength and Intensity 3 Pyramid on DVD but have all of Cathe's older cardio workouts on VHS including Kickbox.

I wanted to add some newer cardio options but not sure whether to go with the newer BB seriers or the Intensity ones. I'm already planning on getting CTX (as a late Crimbo pressie).

I know that you guys will say they are all great and I know that they will be but I'm really torn between the two so any advice from you "educated crowd" to a newbie on the forums would be great. The import duty to get them to the UK will be a big hit on the budget too but just gotta have 'em!

Your advice and comments much appreciated!:7

I agree with Lori. I think the BB would be the best. As you have the Pyramids already. But maybe in the fiture getting the other Intensity ones would be good. Of course my dream is to have ALL of them...:) and welcome to the forum, I still feel like a "newbie" myself!..Carole

Thanks guys!

Looks like BB 1 and 2 will be my first Cathe DVD purchases of 2004. Then I will just need to start saving up for the Intensity cardio ones. Just so many choices...

A further question on the subject - WHY do you feel BB over IS?
Just wondered...

This is so interesting b/c if you go to the firm ya ya's website the poll is in favor of the Intensity series. I LOVE them both. The cardio options in the BB are great. I would choose the BB series b/c of the 90 minute premix...talk about endurance...combining the step and hi/lo of SJ&P and the step and challenge from Step Blast. Also the step and cardio circuit premix is a fun 60 minute challenging premix. KP&C is just fabulous not to mention all the premix options. Get the BB series first if you want cardio options galore and then go for the Intensity series. Do you have the original Imax? The one thing about the BB cardio is it is not interval oriented like Imax 1 and 2. Anyway some people feel the BB premixes are too overwhelming. I think they are a PLUS and I LOVE the many options they provide. I just know the BB series by title...I'm assuming BB 1&2 are the Step Blast/Step, Jump, & Pump DVD and the Kick, Punch, & Crunch/Legs & Glutes DVD.

Enjoy!:7

Thanks so much for this info.

Yes I have Imax1 - hence my interest in Intensity Vol 1 for Imax2 - it has got such good write-ups and seems to be different to Imax1 so it will keep up my interest and add to workout variety.

I think I will kick off with BB - maybe I should get The Terminator next as a way into the Intensity ones...

Cheers

I got the Terminator DVD, and its great! I love Imax Extreme. It has a segment from Cardio & Weights and then 2 Imax2 intervals, then repeats it 4 times with different segments and intervals. It kicks butt! Mostly I prefer cardio and weights separate, but 2 times a week I do a video DVD with both cardio & weights...Carole
