I bought a whole bunch of new workouts so I thought I'd be helpful and post my opinions on them as I do them.
Let me preface by saying I have always been more of a lifter than a cardio person, but as age and cellulite are creeping up on me, I KNOW I need to do more cardio for health as well as vanity.
Oh, also, even though I can dance really well, I am an utter KLUTZ when it comes to choreographed cardio workouts. BUT I tried step and I thought it was really fun (when I could get the moves)... ergo.
So I bought the Basic Step/Body Fusion workout and did Basic Step thsi morning. I want to say this is an AWESOME introduction to stepping. Cathe's cueing through the entire workout is superb. She also makes the workout as interesting as she can even though it is very instructional. You do all kinds of cool moves like rocking horses, charleston kicks, knees around the world, etc.
I did this on an 8-inch step because I was concerned about it being too instructional and not very intense, This made it a little more difficult and I worked up a nice sweat.
I think anyone who is learning step needs to start here!
I saw in another thread that Cathe is doing a sequel to this DVD, which I am pretty excited about!
