Basic knowledge on Macros - links

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone got any link or useful list on macros?
I believe nuts are considered as fat.
Now how about firm tomatos eaten as salad?
This should be considered as carbs? :-?/

Please help;-)
.

I have posted this question in both nutrition and open discussion box.
I am hoping to get an answer here since Diet and nutrition box does get looked at.

Thanks,

For what purpose? In general, most foods contain some amounts of protein, carbs and fat - it's not just ONE category (obvious exceptions are oils, etc.). If you use a tool like MyFitnessPal, you can browse their database of foods and determine the macro make-up of pretty much everything. It's a great tool if you are planning and logging on a macro level (I do this and it's fantastic).

Thanks for mentioning MyfitnessPal. Is it available as an app?
I need to check if I can have it here in Europe.

Kind Regards:)
