Baseball Fans......excited!

I think one of the reasons I like baseball (I was a fan before meeting DH...but not as big a fan as he is!), is because I actually played softball and baseball as a kid, so I understand what's going on. And I know how good it feels when you hit the ball with the very right part of the bat. But, you're right, Lea, there's a LOT to understand in baseball.

I like the pace, too. Hell, it's summer! Slow and easy's the way to go...plus, well, baseball players are built more like normal guys...they're not 7-feet tall and they don't way 300 pounds. I'll just be a sexist pig and go ahead and say it: I like the way they look in their uniforms!!!

I sent DH a card the other day to say good bye to him. After the first pitch opening day I won't see him until the last pitch of the World Series!! :7

Im with tpf on watching the game and the "men in uniforms" ;-) !

And,WOW,its soooo exciting when one of my favorite players hit a homerun or base hit! Im the loudest one in the house,hollering!:7

My favorite player of the braves is Brian mccan(sp)
use to be chipper jones,but he gets hurt so much hes hardly in the game

I'm a Yankee fan. Always lots of good eye candy in NY!!;-) I like to watch it on tv and listen to it on the radio.

Grew up in Chicago...Die-hard Cubs fan here.

Now we live in Cincinnati and it's really fun watching the Reds(especially when the Cubs are beating them). Heck I'll watch any baseball. I just love the game.
