Cathe, or anyone who knows the answer to this:
I have been using a straight bar bell with heavy weights for squats, lunges, etc. but have another barbell that I use for biceps, triceps, etc. I like having 2 because I don't have to stop and change the weights around so much. My question is: the one I use for bi and tris, etc. is not straight. It has that curved area where you usually hold on to the bar bell. Is there any difference in using that kind of barbell? I hope you know what I mean, as I don't know a technical term for the type of barbell. I try to keep great form and don't want it to be hindered because I'm using the wrong type or barbell.
Thanks much!
Lynn
