back-to-back leg days?

Cathe,
Let me just first say I've been diving in to your workouts with a vengeance lately (I've been finally ready to take them on)! Please keep them coming!!! Your workouts are the best out there.

My question: I've read many a rotation where, for instance, PS floor legs is done Tuesday and PS standing legs is done on Wednesday. I also know that working the same muscle group back-to-back is not appropriate. So, do floor leg and standing leg exercises work different muscle groups, or is it a very personal thing on what your individual body can handle, or are the rotations I'm referring to not correct for proper muscle recovery?

Thanks,
Kathy

Hi Kathy! Thank you!

These two workouts are okay to put back to back (unless your legs are incredibly sore)because standing legs focuses more on the quads, glutes, hamstings and buttocks, with heavy weight while floor legs focuses more on inner thigh, outer thigh and hamstrings with lighter weight.

I would suggest that if your hamstrings feel especially sore from standing work that you leave them out of the floorwork routine the next day and rather tack them on at the end of a workout on another day. Have Fun :)!

Hey, thanks for the response, Cathe! I really appreciate it.
Looking forward to working those legs!
Kathy
