Back from the doctor about my heel

Calico

Cathlete
She thinks that I have pulled a tendon, since the pain is really a medial pain, front of heel toward the arch on the inside of the foot. She put me on an anti-inflammatory Vioxx for 2 weeks to see if it helps. If is doesn't then I have to see a foot doctor. If is does then I have to remain on the medication for up to 2 months. She said that I can continue to exercise as long as it is low impact, so I guess I will be riding the bike alot for the next 2 weeks:p . I will continue to lift and ease back into lower body stuff. I definetely can't do stuff with lateral moves in it (thus Slow and Heavy legs are out due to the side lunges she does to fatigue the legs first:( ) and Cardio Kicks would be out too. Not sure about stepping, will have to play it by ear or rather by heel  and see how it goes:) . She told me to continue what I am doing with wearing supportive shoes and inserts to help support it.:)

Thanks for all the concern and continued prayer!!:D

Annette that is good news actually! Had it been plantar fascitis like you originally thought, or an actual heel spur, it might have taken much longer to heel, and you would have been able to do less. Hang in there!! It's going to be all right!!
