Back from Florida - new pics

Hi Everyone!

I just got home from my vacation in Florida (Ft. Myers Beach). It's great to be back on Cathe's forum -- I missed all my Cathe friends. :)

I had a great time, but the weather was a little crazy this year. Far more clouds, rain, and cool temps than usual. Last Thursday we got over 4" of rain. YIKES! :eek: We took the kids to see the movie "Robots" that day.

I took a lot of my Cathe DVDs (and weights & med ball) with me and worked out on the lanai, which was so cool! I also loved running & walking on the beach every day. But, alas, I had to return to my Michigan reality ... I hope Spring shows up here soon. :)

Welcome back Marla. The sunset was gorgeous! So was the beach though. Makes me want to visit. Hummm! You look great! Your boys are so cute. You have a wonderful family.

Thanks for all your kind words and comments. I really missed everyone here. It's so funny how you can get so attached to people here. :)

Lori -- We stayed at Ft. Myers Beach. We really love it there. My parents rent a condo on the beach for a month every year and they always invite us to join them. I actually stayed 3 weeks this year! It was so great -- I truly feel like I've had a vacation. :)

Our boys were in the pool for about 4 hours every day. Two hours in the late morning, two hours in late afternoon. They slept well at night. ;)

Thanks for sharing your vacation pictures. Are your boys twins? They look so much alike. The sunset is absolutely beautiful.

Susan -- My boys are two years apart, but I do get asked that question all the time. My oldest is a little small, my youngest is large. Great for sharing clothes. :)

TyTbody -- I just HAD to bring my med ball! I LOVE that baby! We drove down to Florida so I was able to bring lots of stuff. I brought some weights, my med ball, the top to my full-length step, resistance bands, and my Cathe DVDs, of course (hee hee).

The pictures are absolutely awesome! The sunset is my favorite. Makes me itch to get out of this midwestern funky weather. You look gorgeous and your kids are absolutely adorable.

How the heck did you take all that stuff down with you?!? Did you drive or fly? Although I can TOTALLY relate....I'm leaving on a long weekend WAY "up north" on Thursday where the neighbors are mostly white tail deer and black bear. I bought a portable DVD player last night just so I can take Cathe with me! LOL!!

Thanks for sharing the pics. It looks like fun. I would love to be at the beach right now. You look great. The boys are cute. It is good that you were able to take along workout equipment. The bands and balls make it so much easier to do a little while away. I'm sorry you had the rain, but I am sure you had fun anyway.

Hi Angie -- We drove, so I was able to bring a lot of goodies. :) You'll love your portable DVD player! That's what I have, too, and I can pop my Cathe DVDs in anywhere and workout out. I know what you mean about "get out of this midwestern funky weather." I live in Michigan. But, it is very, very nice today. I can handle cold weather, but I NEED the sun!

Janice -- thanks! I backslid a little while I was in Florida (but not much). I ate some donuts and some cheese fries! }(

Diane Sue -- Thanks for your post. I really love taking my equipment with me, especially when I go away for that length of time (3 weeks). It was fabulous walking the beach every day. And I sure loved working out overlooking the beach. Wonderful. :)
