B&G Leg Blast - I'm addicted!!

After reading a few reviews here of the leg blast premix on B&G, I decided to give it a shot. Well, I almost cried the first time I did it :) but now I've been doing it once weekly and I am seeing really amazing results in my lower body finally! This is a huge struggle for me, and I'm so happy to finally be seeing what I've been working for. I think it's the fact that the workout is so HIGH REP and lighter weight. So the reason I'm here is to ask you all what other lower body workouts offer this type of high rep, low weight work that is getting me such good results? I am going to try Leaner Legs this week, and I hope that's a good one. I just got it and I've heard good (well, not so good :)) things about it. But do you have any other suggestions? I'd really appreciate your input! Thanks!!

Hi - I did this workout and love it. Are you training your lower body once per week? What results are you seeing, slimming? definition? TIA

OHHHHHHHHH...I'm glad I read this post. I just did the overall premix of B&G this morning and was pleasantly surprised. There were actually moves in this premix that are NOT in the actual workout, like Sit n Stands.

OHHHHHHHH...now I'll have to try the Leg Blast premix.

Ladies:

There was an earlier post about some people having difficulty reaching their glutes in Butts & Gutts: that it got to their quads more. I'm one of those, so I tried what everyone said - which is to really concentrate on using my glutes, and to really use my heels to push, etc. I still didn't have a sore butt!!! Any thoughts??

The first time I did this workout I did not have ankle weights so I did the ankle weight section without. I had a tired butt but not a sore butt after the workout. I have since bought ankle weights and do the ankle weight section with 3LBs on each ankle . . . now I get a sore butt. I really concentrate during this section because I think it is easy to cheat your way through it if you are not entirely focused on your form and really squeezing your glutes. This worked for me . . . none of the leg workouts give me DOMS until this one (once I added the ankle weights!).
:)

I tried it today and loved it, too. I do wish that there were some deadlifts and weighted squats in it, but I definitely felt the work in my glutes. All of those walking lunges and one legged squats!
