Melanie, I do find my weight flexuates about 2 pounds. I was feeling good about my weight until i saw a picture of myself in my bathing suit, I am not looking as thin as I thought oh well.
Hopefully justin will start sleeping more soon.

Elyse, I'm sure you look totally awesome in your bathing suit. We always look at our bodies with microscope eyes, don't we? I often marvel at the way baby Justin loves me for ME. He doesn't care if I have stretch marks, or that my glasses make my eyes look beedy. He loves me, and looks at me like I'm the best thing in the whole wide world. I also don't criticize his thunder thighs...which I adore!!! DH admitted that he feeds Justin a bottle, even when he knows he's probably not hungry. "I like to keep him chubby" he said! I couldn't believe it. DH is 6'1" and weighs 160-lb...he's not worried!!!!

You put it so well!... and so funny, he loves you for you and you love him and "don't criticize his thunder thighs"!

A funny and sweet thing happened tonight at a birthday party. I was holding my friend's baby and my husband was holding Max. When hubby came over and Max saw that I was holding another baby he started crying and reached for me until I took him. Then he was happy. I love my baby!

PS - I know you all REALLY want to know... I got my first period today since pre-pregnancy. 22+ months without a period. It was a bittersweet reunion with aunt flo. I really didn't miss her, but now that she is here, at least I know that we can get pregnant if we so desire.

i got my first period 10 months postpartum. It was the worst one I ever had but it is nice to know the body has returned to normal. It really is nice to have you back.
Can you believe we all now have toddlers?
Melanie, you are right, kids love our bodies for what they are, like animals they love unconditionally. And yes, I do have high standards for my body and strive for perfection, although I am pretty happy with my body as is at this point.

Emy, thanks for sharing about getting your period back. I'm not anxious to get mine back. I'd like to have another baby though. It's in Gods' hands. Perhaps he'll just bless us w/o having a menses? I'll put in a request.
