avia 672's

I have them and I love them!! These are the only sneakers that I wear for Stepping as it doesnt't make my feet feel sleepy and IMO is great for high impact.

I have a pair of Avias for running. For step, Hi-Lo and Kick box, I highly recommend the Ryka Gym Trainers they can't be beat for lateral support! I am very particular about my feet, as I have had injuries in the past. The Ryka Gym Trainers provide the best support I have ever had in a shoe!!!

I just ordered the Avia 684 (see link - I hope it works).

I've used Avia's in the past, with success, but I recently tried the Ryka Rhythm II. I liked the Ryka, but I didn't get very good lateral support and stability from this shoe, and ended up injuring my ankles. I can't do step aerobics now until I get some new shoes, because the Rykas just aren't gettin' it done. I finally got my right ankle and knee back in shape, and did aerobics last weekend to have my left ankle start hurting about 20 minutes into my workout. I just don't think the Ryka ever really fit my feet well, and after so long, it finally caught up to me. They told me when I ordered them I'd need an 8.5, but I really think I'd have been happier with an 8. If I try the Rhythm II again someday, I will definitely order the 8.

Here's hoping that my new Avia's will bring back the fond memories I had of them from before!
