Good morning everyone!

Today is a long one! I did the 3 mile run yesterday on my rest day, since it takes less than 30 minutes to do that. I had to be at work today at 5:30 am, so will do MM and stability ball portion of PLB this afternoon.

Saturday I subbed Circuit Max for Cardio Kicks and then added on the IMAX 1 intervals 6-10. No core other than what was in CM--planks.

Hello to those that follow!

Good morning,

I also had to give up the rest day to accommodate the workouts from the weekend and today.

Saturday I did KM drills 1-4, KPC section 2 drills 1-2, Imax intervals 6-10, KPC stability ball segment. Whoo!!

Sunday I did MM.

Today I did Breakthrough Cardio Dance and Core workout, I don't have the opportunity to run.

Have a good day!

Hi Foodie Sue and everyone else:),

You are right, today is definitely a long one. I did MM (68 min.), followed by PLB on the Ball (13 min.) (that was tough but fun!) then I did the 3 mile run. My run took me 35 minutes, which may not be much but it is definitely my personal best:). I thought my 3 mile run would take me at least 40 minutes. Anyway, today's workout is almost 2 hours. We are at the homestretch!,

Have a great day,

Katrina

GREAT JOB, LADIES! We are so close to finishing this rotation. I am so proud of us!

3 mile run......................DONE
Muscle Max......................DONE

I FEEL GOOD!

Keep up the good work!

Gayle

Hi Ladies,

I did L&G (standing only) this morning + 3 mile run. Will complete the MM arms this afternoon after work. The mornig workout felt good. I was good and sweaty. ;-)
I think MM legs too short for my taste.
Question Do you do your cardio after weight or before?

I am behind, so today is StepFit and abs. I did a 3000 yard swim this morning, and will do the videos this afternoon,

Foodie Sue-thanks for getting us started this morning! Enjoy the rest of your workout later today!

KMW-I also feel like the weights on MM for lower body is too short, but I am feeling them already! Those darn slow and low lunges for inner thigh! OUCH. For cardio, I change from day to day, depending on what cardio is on tap for me. This morning, I ran before the weights, but purely for personal reasons. I knew it would take me no more than 30 minutes to run the 3 miles, and I wanted to get that part done before my boys woke up. I can get interrupted on step easier than running, so that's why I ran first. Make sense?

Jana-Great job...a day ahead? How did you do the sit ups? REAL sit ups? Feet anchored? or crunches?

Dorothy-What stroke(s) do you use for your swimming? I am taking a basic mechancis swimming session next week so I can start adding that to my cross-training. Do you like one stroke better than others for more cardio?

Kartina-GREAT job on the PB for the run! Keep at it and you will surpass all your running expectations! See what Cathe does for us?

Conni-your weekend workouts sounded WONDERFUL! Way to GO!

GREAT JOB, LADIES!

Gayle

Good afternoon everyone,

I'm proud to say I'm still with this one:

Muscle Max - Done
PLB Stability ball - Done
Three Mile run - will be done tonight followed by a 1 hour mat pilates class

Enjoy everyone.

Hi guys!

My energy is waning, but I think it is more related to TTOM issues.

I had to take an unplanned rest day Saturday. Yesterday, I did Kick Max (in it's entirety with leg drills, boy am I sore today). I also added abs from Muscle Endurance instead of Core max.

I had hoped to get up early this am and do a spinning tape in lieu of running and then Muscle Max when I got home from work. My daughter woke up at 2:30 and I did not get back to sleep until 3:15, so needless to say.......

I will do my best this week, but will be shifting into high gear for school which means a huge time crunch.

I would like to echo some of Gayle's comments about this rotation in that, although I can't say that I have noticed a difference in weight or measurements, I am very proud that I have pushed myself to do more and longer workouts. I have done things that I did not think I could do! I also like the fact that some of the workouts did not require much equipment and would be good for on the road!

Hang in there everyone for our final week!

Sandra S.

hi Everyone,

I missed friday and saturday workouts due to ilness. I think I will just add them on at the end. So today I will do mm and plb ball. Then I will run for an hour. I will probably split it up into cardio ths morning then weight work this afternoon. I don't want to do to much all at once until I feel a bit better.

We're on the home stretch!

I'm on the same day as Jana:

Did Imax 2 (don't have #3)
200 walking lunges
100 sit-ups, 100 crunches (25 regular, 25 for each side, 25 reverse)
I wish I could do all the sit-ups. Will have to work on that.
Probably should have done Imax 1, since it is supposed to more intense like #3, but I don't know that workout and wanted to do one that I knew well so I could get more out of it.

For those of y'all that say MM is kinda light on the legs, just remember what is in store for you tomorrow! Those walking lunges after an Imax, IMHO, are not for the faint of heart (or quads, or hamstrings!):D

I was thinking the same thing myself after MIS yesterday, but today I was glad of it. Walking lunges are hard for me and I don't know if I could have finished them all with good form if my legs had been too fried.

Gayle, I train all four competitive strokes. I love IM work, and do lots of intervals. I use the work-outs on www.usms.org, specifically Mo's. Her work-outs are usually around 3500 yards, which I cut down to an hour. Generally Mon-Wed-Fri is all freestyle, Tues and Thurs is IM work. I get real bored with the freestyle work sometimes and change the stroke to IM and keep the length. I love doing fly, and my best stroke is breast, and I really, really hate doing backstroke and only practice it to compete in the IM's. For a while, when I raced IM, my breast leg was faster than my back leg, pretty sad.

Good luck with your swimming, I really like it, it is such a good all over exercise!

Wow -- last week!

Great workouts everyone!

3 mile run plus walk to/from gym- check
MM-check
sub PLB ball for floor work GS legs-check

I was so happy today that I was able to run. I had planned to power walk but thought I'd see how far I was able to run on the treadmill. I have tried to run in the past but have struggled with asthma. This is the first time I have ever jogged where I wasn't struggling with my breathing! It actually felt good! Thank you Cathe!!! Oh happy day! :D :D :D

Tomorrow I start my new job. I think I will work out when I get home.

Have a great day everyone!

Cath :)

GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU on this rotation. I was doing great on this rotation and now found out that I have a stress fracture in my left foot, soooooo no cardio for a while for me. I'm going to try a different rotation to at least still do something.

GOOD LUCK and STICK WITH IT!!!!

~Marcia~ :)

Hi All! Cath- fantastic job with the run...this rotation must be really doing wonders for your endurance capacity. I know it's really doing the job for me. I get very inspired reading about everone's accomplishments. I got ahead a little with this rotation.
I run a lot anyway so yesterday for a change I biked for 6 miles instead and then did Muscle Max and the PUB stability ball segment.
This morning I felt very energized and did my usual 7 mile run, then IMAX 3 (my favorite- I love it better every time). I had a refueling break (breakfast) then the walking lunges and sit ups. The sit ups have been the challenge for me on this rotation. They are much harder than crunches, I end up having to anchor my feet on the 2nd 100 and my tailbone really suffers despite using plenty of padding!
Great work everyone....almost done

I am on tuesday's workout of imax3 and 200 walking lunges and abs and they are all done.so tomorrow is ME I might add some cardio in the p.m if time allows.
I also did my 3 mile run yesterday- running steady state is so hard for me.This is something I have to work on because my miles aren't very fast.I will get there.I have done cardio intervals at the 20 min mark for so long that is hard to get back into the longer sessions plus it don't help that I hate cardiox(

Hey you guys. Yesterday ended up being a rest day. Friends came over and stayed until after 9. So, today I did Step Works and instead of 20 min. of Ab Hits I did BC Core only followed by BC Upper Only. I wanted to get in some upper work tonight.
