August Rotation Check In 08/12/05

I'm hanging in there. I've followed the rotation exactly so far. Did MIC today, it it rather boring but I feel so good when I'm done it. That blast at the end is SO HARD! I also was sliding off by ball trying to do Core Max as I was so sweaty. LOL Kim

Good morning to everyone from beautiful Prescott, AZ. I was feeling great this am so I went for my 7 mile run, then had breakfast, then did MIC and coremax seg. 2. Feeling tired but good. I'll rest up a bit and go kayaking this afternoon hopefully if the weather holds.

MIC was my first Cathe workout I ever did and I still love it although it can be a bit tedious. I get a kick out of watching the dark haired girl next to Cedie. She is all smiles in the beginning but by the last step segment she looks like she wants to curl up and die. It is IMHO the most intense non-interval steady state cardio workout of Cathe's available.

Sorry to run on a bit. It is such a pleasure to hear how everone is doing with this rotation. Great work!

Today was High Step Challenge and the blast from Kick Max. I wanted to rest after High Step Challenge and skip the blast...I convinced myself to start the blast right away with the option of substituting low impact if necessary. Amazingly once I was in the blast I found I had lots of energy and was jumping for height. Only on the very last part (jump, jump, jump, tuck) did I find my form became very shaky. I persevered and really enjoyed the stretch.
Have a great Friday!

Hi, I have been doing the rotation but not checking in. It is really fun to see what you are all doing and holding up. Did anyone have any results with this rotation yet? I haven't lost weight inches or my clothes don't feel looser. No change at all. I still feel the same doing the cardio too. Any ideas as to why no results yet or do I have to wait until the whole thing is over. I eat the same as I always have. Thanks Karen

Well it is almost 7 and I'm pooped but I'm going to put on my workout clothes right now and get started. Today is HSC for me plus the KM high intensity drills. I will probably do both the stretches from HSC and KM. I haven't done yoga this week so I may try to get a little bit of that in, but I don't want to work out ALL night so we'll see. It's 6:45 so if I go upstairs and get ready NOW I can start my workout by 7 or before!!! Keep up the great work everyone. This may get difficult for me next week as I officially report back to school and the following week, students return! I may try early a.m. workouts the last two weeks and see how I do...yikes!

I just finished my workout and I felt great. This one didn't seem as hard as some of the others have. The KM blasts flew by for some reason!

Happy Friday everyone! MIC and CM2 complete. Had to modify those pikes though! I didn't drag through today's workout like I did yesterday and was able to add about 10 minutes of Rythmic Step which I've been trying to learn for about 2 months now. Seems like I'll never learn those steps but I have fun laughing at myself while trying:+

Looking forward to tomorrow's workout. I prefer working out in the morning so Saturday's are my favorite day to work out hard. Hmmm, I may add PUB or another upper body split cause I don't feel like my upper body has been challenged this week.

Great job everyone and we're almost half way through!

Good evening, y'all. I sure am continuing to be encouraged by reading all of everyone's check-ins.

Yesterday was my first time with MIC also. I had previewed it and thought it would be harder than it really is, but I can't say it was easy, either. I did BC and ME abs since I don't have Core max. Sounds like I should have pulled out KPC for the stability ball work instead!

Today was the 3 mile run followed by Meaner Legs. All I can say about that is, I'm am glad tomorrow is a rest day! I was planning on pulling out PUB for some weight work, but I may just pass on that...I also am not getting enough sleep, and the heat combined with humidity is pretty miserable.

Hope y'all have great workouts tomorrow...

Julie
