August Rotation--8/17/05

Hello ladies,

Forgive me if this is a double post, so here goes. I'm officially worn out;( . I'm soooo tired:-( . I followed the rotation as written, which means I did StepWorks and IMAX2 intervals 1-5. After each Segment in SW, I took a 1-2 minute break. I've never done this before and I kept praying that I could make it through. I know this is because my hamstrings are still sore from Monday. OMG, is this rotation over yet;)? I hope I can make it. I will admit, I'm getting good results on the scale though. Anyway, have a great day everyone:),

Hi Everyone,

I don't have SW so I subbed a Christy Taylor step video and also added IMAX2 intervals 1-5. I needed to stop and "refuel" partway through. I guess it was too long since I had eaten.

Katrina -- I think I'm getting good results too. It is intense though! :)

I bet you feel so accomplished after that workout, huh?!?! I can't wait to get home from work tonight and get that workout in. I like both of those workouts so I'm really looking forward to it. The hard part is waiting until after work to get started and reading all of you that are already done with it. :)

I did 5 am Fiesta today for day one of week 3. I did not like it and will substitute if we have another day like that. Will swim 2800 yards at lunch.

Katrina: that's great that you are seeing results on the scale. I'm gonna wait till friday to weigh in, but I must admit, I feel good!!

today's workout: did step works and I'll be doing IMAx1 intervals 1-5 this afternoon after work. I agree, SW is TOUGH!!! I kept looking at the clock and wondering " is it over yet?" LOL...

P.S. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one feeling tired. But, it's a Good tire, right??? sleeping soundly at night..zzzzz...zzzz.:)
 
Would step blast or rythymic step work in place of step works? Or could I run and then do imax intervals? I need advice!

I survived today's workout - woohoo! I did Stepworks for the 1st time. Some of the choreography was really tricky but towards the end of each section I got it. Then I added the first 5 intervals of Imax 1. We're over halfway through!
 
This AM I did Stepfit and AB hits. I feel good. I did raise the step half way through because after the rest of this rotation I didn't feel it as much. This helped!:)

I don't have Step works, so I subbed the Phillip Gray step portion of his step and Hi/lo workout, then did Imax 1-5 intervals. Great workout! I didn't modify one interval and tacked on abs at the end.

Hi everyone!

I am a day behind for the week. I will see how it goes now that my daughter has started school. I did get up this morning and do Circuit max, so I was happy. I did not have time to add CTX upper, so I am not sure whether I will try that tonight or like someone else mentioned, I may substitute PUB premix.

I have not done Circuit max in a while, and it was not as difficult as I remembered. I am surprised that I remembered most of the moves, but I guess it's like good old songs, it just comes right back!

Hang in there everyone! We are still accomplishing alot, even if we modify. I have been really curious as to what Cathe has in store for next month. I wonder if we will switch to more heavy weight lifting.

Lord, I'm tired too! I'm starting to get a sore throat. I haven't been sleeping as well as I should be. I think work is stressing me out too much.

Today I did Stepworks and 1-5 IMAX 1. I only ate cereal for dinner last night and I didn't have enough gas this morning. I got through it, but it wasn't as high of quality as it would have been if I'd been fully rested and eaten better.

I'm doing KPC abs BEFORE HSTA tomorrow. It's difficult to do pikes if your arms are already fried!
 
Day 15 of the rotation for me: Fitness Fiesta
15 minute dance warm up
100 toe touches
25 x 4 burpees
5 minute intense cardio
100 jumping jacks
100 walking lunges
2 minutes hover squats (ouch!)
5 minutes jump rope
50 push ups
18 minutes tough Core max premix
100 toe touches
(knees could not take another set of burpees)
5 minutes jogging
100 jumping jacks
100 alternating front kick and back kick (then switch legs)
15 minutes cardio
50 push ups
50 sit ups
Cool down
Whew, I made it! I am looking forward to Circuit Max tomorrow. I definitely prefer tapes to Mish Moshes.
 
Well, I will be further behind, but I am going to finish what I started...eventually. I had an IEP meeting that lasted for almost 4 hours. It's 6:30 and I just got home and started eating dinner. I ended up not being able to take lunch so before now all I've eaten today was two zone bars. There was no way I could workout on a light snack and by the time my dinner settles it will be too late and I'm too tired. So, I will hopefully pick up where I left off tomorrow.

Whew! Got home from work and headed right for the workout area. I got halfway through Step Works and had to pause to say good bye to my DH before he heads off to work. Then about 5 minutes later my son was moaning for supper, so I stopped it quick and threw something together for him. FINALLY - I was able to finish Step Works, but that really took the energy right out of me. I stopped after that, I've had trouble fitting in the workout this week (too many meetings) so I'm happy to fit it in and hopefully keep going strong with the rest of this awesome rotation.

Hi everyone.
I completed Stepworks and the IM 1-5 intervals just now. Great all step workout. A little tired but feeling pretty good. Sounds like everyone who came before me did great today and its comforting somehow to know that nearly everyone else is pooped too!}(

Just a couple more days to rest day and it looks like we're going to need it cause next week looks tough!

posting a day late I didn't get my workout in until 8:00 due to car trouble:-( .I did hsta upper premix twice and than cardio and lower.I didn't have time for the abs but I have thrown in extra abs with this rotation anyway so I feel safe.Today since I don't have step works will be from the timesaver sjp and step blast that's around 45 min and hopefully will fit in imax1 1-5 And basic abs.
