August Road Trippers - Tuesday, 7/22

Anyone else have a hard time believing that today is July 22nd??? The summer is flying by wayyy too fast for me! Not sure what workout is on tap for tonight. I really need something to kick my butt (literally). I'm doing ok with the upper body, but lower body needs some work still. ;) Anyone start packing yet? :p
 
Hi Liann and Catherine.

I've started packing in my mind, but that's about it so far. I spent so much time stressing out and putting outfits together last year, it was ridiculous! And I ended up bringing outfits that I normally wouldn't wear while working out so I was rather uncomfortable.

This time, I'm just kind of winging it. My workout clothes are in pretty good shape, so I don't need anything new. I'm just bringing basic shorts or yoga pants and some sport bras and tanks to go over them. That's it, nothing fancy.

Also, I'm driving down this year so I can bring as many outfits as I want. That could be really dangerous, though!!

I've got a Cardio Coach workout on my rotation tonight but I keep procrastinating! I'll get to it eventually...
 
No packing yet, except in my brain. :rolleyes: Liann, are you packing differently from last year? I love the idea of putting things in individual baggies. Melissa, I am also driving so space isn't an issue.

Is anyone going to Cathe's class this Friday? I'll be there with bells on. :D

Today was DM for me. I havent been doing much upper body.
 
I agree Liann, where does the time go??? Summer is almost over :(

I too am packing in my brain. I am wondering what to wear to lunch on Sat. The email says you might want to wear your next workout outfit under your street clothes. I was thinking why not just wear the next w/o outfit??
 
Melissa - Driving is great because you can bring as much stuff as you want! I might end up looking like I am off to college! ;)

Phyllis - I will probably pack like last year with everything in the baggies. It's amazing that you can fit a pair of workout pants, top, undees, etc... in a one gallon zip lock bag, but it works perfect. I am determined to bring less outfits though. Last year, I had enough workout clothes for ten friends. ;)

Catherine - I might just wear my next workout outfit too or just wear those warm-up type pants over my workout clothes. I doubt I will change into "street" clothes just to have to change back.
 
I’m packing in my mind already, too. I’m coming by car, but riding with another girl I don’t know well, so I will probably exercise at least a little control over how much I pack. She told me she didn’t care how much I brought, but still, I won’t want to bring a ridiculous amount in someone else’s car.

I will probably wear my most street-acceptable workout outfit to that lunch. I’ve got those Nike Funky Cropped Dance Vibe pants (no idea if I got those words in the right order) that were on Cathe’s blog when she was rehearsing for the 4DS workouts.

Liann, I’m going to quote something you said yesterday, since I didn’t respond to it then:

I always determine to get into good shape before the RT and it never happens.

Ahem, girlfriend—I saw pictures of you from the last road trip and my jaw dropped because you looked FABULOUS. I was thinking, Wow, never realized what a hottie Liann is. So if that’s not good shape I will be embarrassed to show up in my truly bad shape!

Catherine, if you can't get a ride from someone at the hotel , I can swing by and get you. :D I'll be coming form home. We'll firgure it out as it gets closer. Are you still up for something Thurs eve? I'm debating with myself about it because I do have to work Thurs.
