GM ladies! I am totally in the mood now to run home and pack for the RT!!! Seeing everyone excited about the July RT is getting me psyched for ours. I REALLY need a new camera beforehand though. My old one which is actually pretty new takes the worst inside pictures :(. Anyone have recommendations for a camera that takes decent inside shots?
 
Is at home-woke at 3am with a migraine. At least my head doesn't feel like it's gonna explode anymore! Gonna lay around all day.

Liann, I am getting more excited too. I will do a trial packing this weekend. I want to stick with just a carry on bag. So I have to plan very carefully.

I posted this last night and not sure if anyone saw- I am looking for a ride to Cathe's Friday morning class if anyone driving has room.
 
Catherine - I am going to be driving up REALLY early Friday morning and going straight to the gym. I may go this Friday too. If I do, I'll see how long it takes me to get there and if I would have time to swing by the hotel and get you on my way in for our trip. I probably could since I plan to leave early enough to miss rush hour. Think of me as your back-up plan ;) .
 
Thanks Liann. I am sure there will be others already there that I can hook up with. I just didn't want to wait till the last minute ya know? If all else fails, I'll take a cab, but I seriously doubt I will have to do that.

I wonder why my avi is only showing in my user profile?
 
There are two different pictures - one is your profile picture, and the other is your avatar picture. They are not the same. You'll need to go under your "User CP" section and add your picture to your avatar. Some people actually have a different picture for their profile than their avatar.
 
I figured that out after I posted. However, my image is too big and I can not figure out how to resize :confused: The link for shrinking the avi didn't work. Oh well, I guess I'll remain faceless till I figure it out.

I know what Liann means -- all the talk of this weekend's RT is making me so excited for ours! Liann, that would be so much fun if you could make this Friday's step class!

Catherine, I know that my roommate and I are going to the Friday morning step class, so we could definitely meet up that morning and share a cab over! Is your migraine better? Hope so!

Today is our anniversary, which means that I'll probably stuff myself at dinner tonight. Gotta work out extra hard today to make up for all the eating I'll do tonight!:p

I can't believe the July road trip is this weekend. Ours will be here before you know it. I am still trying to convince DH to ask for time off from Sunday after the RT to Wednesday so we could go to the beach, but he has had to take off the last two weeks of work because he has poison ivy so bad. He is in law enforcement and they won't let you back with any open wounds because of safety issues.

Liann-I am no help with the camera issues as I am the worst with cameras. I think I am going to take my old film camera this year instead of the digital as I always seem to have better luck with it. I wish I could make it up for Friday's class but I would have to start driving at 3AM.

Catherine-I haven't even attempted the avatar issue yet. I will be remaining faceless for a while, I think.

I am off to hit the shower. ( I taught class this morning and then I got on the computer for "a little while".)

Hi everyone!

Catherine - I'm driving down early Friday morning as well and plan on stopping at the hotel on my way to the gym to see if anyone needs a ride. That's if I don't run into any nasty traffic!

Liann - this year I think I am bringing disposable cameras. I have one digital camera that STINKS; and one old-school film camera.

Leanne - Happy Anniversary! Enjoy yourself tonight!

Catherine - If you want, e-mail me the picture. I have a program here that I can tell it to resize specifically to the guidelines set by the forum.

Leanne - Congrats on the anniversary!!!

Beth - Your poor DH! I am also suffering from poison currently (it's all on my arms, ewe) and it really rots! I'm tempted to wear long sleeves at Friday's step class. :( It should be gone by our road trip hopefully. Hope your DH feels better soon.

Melissa - Fingers crossed that we do not hit any traffic! I'm going to do a test run this week (leave the house around 5:30 a.m. and get to Jersey at 8 a.m.). I'll report back how the traffic is around Philly at that time in the morning.
 
Liann, thanks. I'll keep that in mind. For now I will stick with my fairy avi. I didn't really like the pic I had anyway:confused:
 
Catherine - I like your fairy pic!

Liann - the traffic is the only thing I'm worried about. I should probably be more worried about getting lost! It should take me about 3.5 - 4 hours to get to the gym, that's without factoring in traffic, so definetly let me know how your trial run goes.
