Good morning ladies..

On schedule for me today is Gym Style: chest & triceps.....and all those pushups!!! I was feeling a little sore yesterday from the GS: BSB I did Saturday.. Ok, I am hoping to eat better today. I pigged out too much yesterday and I am feeling it today!!!

Still dealing w/ this migraine for days now and I have not worked out because of it - my head just gets way to painful to even do step or run :( At times I get the nausea and serious eye sensitivity ugh!
Seriously thinking about talking to my doc to see if she can put me on a migraine med so I don't have to pop so many pills throughout the day.

I hope you all are doing well and have an awesome day :)

Hey all -- I'm sure you burned off those calories already too Kathy! Do you do all those pushups on your toes? Killer! I would love be able to do all of them on my toes one day. I'm sorry about your migraine Vilma -- I don't know how aggravated i've been of late because I don't get a workout in due to a headache/migraine. I hope you feel better!!!

So funny story -- we tried to do our 1rm but we grabbed too light weights and went over 20 reps on some of them but to failure. When we realized the calculator only went up to 20, we tried to the again but realized we had just done them to failure and my muscles were already shaking on the first rep. So, we only got five in yesterday but we'll get more as time goes by.

Today is an elliptical run at the school gym followed by some 1rm testing. My gosh I ate soo much too last night. Such is the dilemma when you like your own indian cooking so much...
 
Vilma: I hope you feel better soon!!

Hottie: NO!! There is no way I could do those drop sets on my toes..I do them on my knees. Then I concentrate on form. I feel my form isn't the best on my toes..Have a great workout!!

Hey Girls!!

It's MONDAY!

Had a pretty good night at work last night too. It has been holy hell there, so having a good night was even nicer , hearing the horror stories of the last week.

Kathy: Oh... ewwww...all those push-ups! I also do them on my knees for the same reason: good form. If I do them on my toes, I can't go down that far, I'd rather do them on my knees (I'd rather not do them at all, though! LOL!).

Vilma: Sorry to hear about your continued migraine. That sounds horrible. You should go get something, this shouldn't go on like this for so long. I do not know how you stand it , Vilma!!

Hottie: That is too funny about the 1RM's!! Oopsie! And the fact that you were too sore/tired to go back and do them again. They are tough!! Hope it goes better today and you get a good calorie burn (off the Indian food) with the elliptical!


I'm off to start Week #2 of the AUG rotation. It's GS: BSB in a few.... The weather has turned today to VERY muggy and hot. Still resisting putting on the AC though. I know, i'm crazy, bitching and moaning when we don't have it and now trying NOT to put it on... Cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs!!!

Oh , today started the first day of day camp for 2 of my boys. The 13 and 9 yr olds. So it's only my youngest (7) at home today. It's amazing how quiet it is with no one to fight !
