GOOD morning, everybody! How are we all today???

Day 3 of this rotation and I'm feeling GREAT! I had to get up earlier today...5am...I'm babysitting my neice today and she gets here at 6:45! This morning was SJP plus the Kick Max leg conditioning drills. I have to admit, this morning's workout was easier than the other 2 so far this week! (I promise not to say that too loudly.) I worked up an awesome sweat again and SJP is SO MUCH FUN! This was my 1st time thru this one completely (I've done the step and abs protions before).

I'm glad it's going great. Taking care of a child can be as aerobic/anaerobic as one of Cathe's workouts so you may get more today HA!
I am a little off days with this rotation this week due to scheduling. This AM I did IMAX2 and Coremax #3. I feel great. I love this rotation because I feel that I was needing to break a plateau.
 
Early w/o for me also 4:30-sjp,km leg drills.I did the upper body portion of this two times all of it clocked in at 97 min.my hr didn't get up there like the other 2 days workout but I still sweated a bunch and it was a good workout.
 
Sheila-I would have liked to have more upper body weights as well, but I as already crunched for time. Funny you commented on your HR...I only burned about 550 calories this morning (according to HRM)! That's still a lot, but compared to Monday and Tuesday's workouts, it's nothing! LOL

Today is my added in rest day, so I will do the SJP tomorrow. I have a question for those who are doing the SJP plus the kickmax drills. When are you doing the drills? After completion of the whole video? I was thinking of stopping after the leg/cardio stuff and before the upper body stuff(been a while, so will view it tonight), inserting the leg drills, and then finish SJP and stretch. It means swapping DVDs in and out though. Just curious what others will be doing, because I will join you on this work-out tomorrow.

This is actually my second week of ramping up the exercise. Last week I upped my swimming to 12000 yards for the week, plus did HC weightloss rotation. I was really tired by Wednesday last week, but this week I am feeling really good even though this rotation is more intense. I am still taking the rest day to be cautious, but am happy with the way I feel.

Well, last night I did my 200 walking lunges around my rec room in between my ironing duties, and then this morning I did SJP. Hopefully I will have time tonight to do KM drills.
Actually, SJP felt kinda easy ( what's up with that?)

Hi Everyone,
My post didn't show up so I'll give it another go!
I don't have SJP so I made up my own little mix:
-first 1/2 of Christi Taylor's Still Steppin'
-first 1/2 of Christi's Still Jumpin' w/stopping every 5 min. to do weights
-muscle max abs w/stretch
-I have KM so I did the drills next and then the KM stretch afterwards.
It took a little longer to do all of that switching but it turned out to be a decent workout. Feeling pretty good!

p.s. after my husband got home yesterday (and after I had done my Cathe workout!) he wanted to go for a hike! phew! I made it ... phew!
 
Dorothy-I did the Kick Max leg drills after the entire SJP workout, but before the stretch.

And I agree, that SJP seemed easier today, but compared to Mon and Tues, that makes sense!

Well, this morning I did Imax I and the 200 walking lunges. I usually workout 1 1/2 to 2 hours. This was only around 1 hour and 10 minutes. I started to do the floorwork of Firm Volume I, but I decided I am going to do this like as much as outlined. Plus....after the 200 walking lunges, I really didn't want any more leg work :+

I am feeling great also! Looking forward to tomorrow's SJ&P!

I got in my Step, Jump & Pump this morning (minus the abwork - was seriously running out of time) then added on the Kick Max leg drills. And I felt it! :p Especially since I was only going on 3 hours of sleep after going to a concert last night and therefore going to bed at 1:30 in the morning and getting up at 4:30am! I am definitely expecting to hit a wall later on today! ;-)

As to why I decided to take out the abwork, I have a live pilates class on saturday with Mari Winsor herself, so I felt I could sacrifice one ab session this week (and I need to make sure my abs will be able to survive that class)!

So onto Day 4! I'm loving this rotation!

Good Morning ladies - I just got back from vacation and just looked over the August 2005 rotation and I am really loving the looks of this one! I still need to be working my legs about 5X per week, so I may have to add some of that in, but it looks perfect - hope you don't mind but next week I will start this one with you guys!

I might just start on week 2 and then add a week onto the end, so we are all doing the same workouts - more fun that way! I was on vacation for 5 days, so for the rest of the week I am doing cardio to get back into the groove.............:D :D
 
I couldn't fall asleep last night so this morning it was difficult to get up. Consequently, I didn't get the complete workout in and will have to finish tonight. I will be starting with the low impact hi/lo segment and use that as my warm-up tonight. Then I'll finish SJP minus stretch and move over to the KM leg drills and then do the KM stretch.

I was really tired today and my workout didn't feel that great, but hey, some days are like that.
 
SJP was great this morning. I modified anything that was a "jump", just couldn't jump at all today since it's TOM and I really didn't feel like jumping. I love doing the KM leg drills even though I can't keep my leg as high as my waist. Something to work towards.
 
Is anyone else ready for the Epsom salt bath on Sunday already?

I sure am! I feel like I am walking around the office as if I just got off a horse (walking lunges are torture to me!!!!)

Ok...day 3...........I am typing slow......:7 I did SJP and it was tough for me...by the time I got to the lunges, I was not saying nice things to Cathe:p. Great work out. I did the ab part twice and really felt the leg portion of Kickmax.

Looking forward to Imax 2 and core tomorrow!

i did totally complete mon and tues rotation,but my feet are killing me because i also work the sales floor so that makes it really tough for me. sjp will have to wait til after work and dinner. if i do it in the morn,i'll be too tired for work-alot of walking.

Day 2 of Aug. 2005 Rotation.

SJP was such a fun w/o. Haven't done it in mmmmmmm??? months. Now for KM leg conditioning drills, OUCH. I hung in there until the bitter end with some modifications.

Q. Were we to do the hi/lo sect. as well?

Hello Everyone,

Well I did Imax1 and the walking lunges last night. What a great work out my legs where wobbly. I went outside to do the lunges and it sure was a muggy night. I didn't get eaten by mosquites either. I thought with all the sweat that they would be swarming.

Anyway will be doing SJP and KM Leg Drills tonight. I like that most of you are saying it is easy. :)
