Starting us off this morning, since our early bird Kathy is gone!!!
Still debating on what workout to do. The rotation calls for A 45 Min Interval Run which isn't happening since the boys are all home. I might do a Turbo Jam Fat Blaster and then an Abs Circuit (of my choice...maybe med ball, since that is my fave!)

BBL to update! I know you're all waiting on the edge of your seat !! ;)

Hi Chris :)

I actually did Fat Blaster this morning followed by Squeeze Stronger :)

Now I'm just doing laundry - stripped all the bed sheets and just doing some quick cleaning here.

Have fun w/ whatever you decide to do for your workout today ;)

Hey Vilma!!

Yes, I did do Fat Blaster too! That is such a good 30 minutes of interval isn't it? Love it! And I'm always dripping at the end!... I followed it with a premix off of Coremax, All abs, or something like that. It was a combo of all the coremax segments. It was cool (and NO pikes! YAY!!).

I noticed you're a FB friend of Chalene's too, doesn't she just come out with the BEST motivational things and information? I even went to her live chat the other evening. It was cool. She's just so full of energy and fun, it seems. And also wisdom... I enjoy reading her FB blogs...

Okay, off to my crappy Saturday. Actually , it isn't that bad, ...2 of my boys are down the street at a friends, and Zach is across town at his friends! ... one hour and some change until my nap.... can't wait ...

Hope everyone is having a great Saturday... Miss my check in buddies today that haven't shown!!! :(

I'm baaaa-aaaaaack!! Got back a couple of hours ago -- had a much needed shower, dinner, all that. We had a great time. The kids complained a lot in the beginning -- mosquitos, missing Gina, etc., but at some point Larry just got fed up with it, read them the riot act, and then we all started having much more fun. More details later, if anyone's interested, I'm sort of pooped. Didn't exercise much, but had some hikes some days. I guess I will jump into a GS week this week -- is that where you are, Chris?

What's new?! I missed you guys!!

Welcome Back Beth - glad you all had a great time. I love hiking and that in itself can be a great workout ;)

Once you get settled in please share your vacay details ;)

Chris yes I love Chalene's motivational posts. Have you seen the clips from her Turbo Camp? OMG it looked like so much fun and even watching the clips I was getting that energy vibe and was standing up and moving with them lol

Yesterday I took my 11yr old to see Harry Potter and we both enjoyed it. Since it was just her & I we just needed to get out and do something nice besides cleaning lol

I have CCv7 waiting for me and its one of my favorites if not de favorite ;)

I hope you all have a great day!

Hey Vilma, and all! I ended up doing GS BSB this morning -- nice, but I'm envious of your cc7 -- I feel like running! There is another bad fire in our area -- about 15 miles from home. When we drove in yesterday it was really smoky, so I thought there'd be no running for me for a few days. This morning it seems pretty normal out there, so I may try tomorrow morning.

The trip was great -- we just tooled around north and east and stopped when and where we wanted to -- sometimes dictated by where we could stay -- a lot of places were full. Our favorite thing is to go where no one else is -- off some fire road or whatever, and we did that a couple of nights. We spent one night in an amazing meadow -- completely to ourselves. In the morning we looked out and there was a deer licking our stove! She stuck around for a while -- we got some pics, but not when she was really close. We also did a motel every couple of nights or so so that we could have a shower! It was a pretty good combination. I ended up calling what we did "carpacking" because it was sort of like backpacking (being nowhere with nobody and no facilities), but in the van.

I love hiking, too, Vilma. If I'd had my way, there would have been a lot of hiking every day, but for Larry it's all about the fishing. He mostly flyfishes, so there is walking in the stream/river, but that's not always that compatible with hiking. Sometimes it's best to sit on a rock and wait for him because the terrain is just too crazy (unless you really do want to walk in the water, which I did not always want to).

Joanne, at one point I was somewhere where I could have done some push ups, and I thought about doing them, but did not !, and then I thought "I can totally see why Joanne didn't work out while on her vacation!" :)

We have tons and tons of pics -- I'll try to post a site at some point. We made it as far as Mt. Lassen, which (for those who don't know) is a non-active volcano, but it does have a lot of thermal activity, so we hiked to some of that. It's just so amazing to see the earth sort of open like that. We wanted to get to Mt. Shasta, but it just didn't happen this trip -- we saw it in the distance on the drive home. Someday. I really liked Lassen -- rocks, but lots of green still from snow melt.

So you guys who are Chalene fans on fb -- I've heard there's a lot of spam from her -- is that not true? I've been afraid to sign up as her fan.

Off to clean out the van, do mountains of laundry, and hopefully find the dvd remote!!! Hope everyone has a wonderful day........

HEEEY BETH! That sounds like an awesome trip. My friends are still over and I was talking about my interest in the outdoors but the bugs attraction to bite me and they suggested this "buzz off" clothing to help me with that. If it ever goes on sale I may pick it up so I could try this stuff. We live so close to the mountains ourselves I feel bad that I never go on hiking trails like everyone else. Fishing?!?! Maybe its not as boring as golf... :)

Chris, I hope you had a good saturday at work! To those of you who worked out -- good for all of you! I ended up with another unscheduled rest day. Lots of yapping with my friend...I ended up waxing her legs before she went off the her wedding which amused both her bf and my husband while I did it chatting in the dining room. And then I had to go into lab for a couple hours and didn't come back until 9pm and I just wanted to crash...oh, I accidentally didn't close the top to where I keep Evee's dry food and she ate about a week's worth of food in one sitting. I love how muscular my dog looks -- we feed her and exercise her well and it literally looked like she had this bloated ball that swished around as she walked. It doesn't look as bad today. We had paint drama again -- I don't like how dark the rouge color is in my bedroom and I wanted to change it before we moved furniture in but Joe resisted and said if I still hated it we could change it. Well, its getting changed and we were deciding on one or two shades lighter. Bought a gallon of two shades and Joe was adamantly opposed to it when we tested it on the wall but luckily we could return tinted pain for a full refund. But now at least we KNOW the color we want and we'll pick it up most likely during labor day weekend.

Oh yeah, my workout. I futzed through a couple dvds before I said a quick run on the elliptical and it was just right for me. I'm going to do 1RMs in a bit. I got Joe to try some yoga...he bailed on it but at least he did the majority of it. I'm going to start STS in September with you guys but I'll have a bunch of questions before I start most likely. The day is dragging on a bit for me...and I have big plans for cooking dinner so I better pick up the pace a little.

Hi Hottie! Actually, fly fishing is sort of fun -- I did it with Larry before we had kids, but with the kids around it's just too hard to concentrate.

Did Evee get sick from all the food? More painting?! Sounds like you had fun with your friend -- that's great!

So, for all of you who are planning to start STS in Sept, are you taking a week off of weights first? I just did that, so I won't, but I'm not ready to start STS again. Oh, and are you starting with disc one on the first, or the Monday that's the 31st, or ????
