ATTN Road Trippers: Rapid Rover Shuttle Service

Hi Road Trippers,

Several of you have inquired about shuttle service between the airport and the hotel.

A shuttle service called Rapid Rover appears to offer the best rates (based on calling a few places today). Here's the skinny on them:

Their largest vans accommodate 10 people. The cost from Philly airport to the Ramada/Radisson in Mount Laurel is $18 per person one way (no group discounts).

The cost from Glassboro to the airport is $33 for the first person and $10 for each additional person.

Please give them 3 weeks notice in case there is a large percentage of Road Trippers who will be using this shuttle service.

I'm still trying to match those who are renting cars from the airports to those who need rides.

Please let us know if you use this service and if you have any problems reserving a space with them.

I received the below information from Mary L. Thank you,
Mary, for the info!

"I just got off the phone with the lady at Rapid Rover.
She said if we don't want to, we don't have to wait for more
Catheites to come, they will take us solo if need be, and it
will still be 18 dollars.
These are the instructions she gave me to GO TO our hotel(s):
Get your bag(s)
Go to ground transportation(by the baggage pickup)
Pick up the phone and dial 21 which will connect you to Rapid
Rover and tell them what hotel you need to be taken to.
They will send transportation to pick you up and take you to
the hotel.

For the RETURN to the airport:
As soon as I arrive to the hotel and find out my room number
I am to call Rapid Rover and tell them when my flight
leaves(for me, that's monday morning) and they will pick me
up 2 1/2 hours before my flight leaves. There may be other
people to pick up and that's why they allow the extra
time."

Please note that due to the potentially large number of
people using the shuttle, they require 3 weeks notice
(instead of the normal 24-48 hour notice).

I'm going to be calling Rapid rover back today when I get home from work just to be sure about this info--one can never be too careful!!!!!lol

Yep, the info is correct(I always like to double check--sometimes you get 2 different answers from 2 different people).

Please make your reservations for transportation so you have a seat on the shuttle (this is what they asked me to tell everyone).
