As a frequent visitor to WDW; just wanted to remind everyone to make their airport shuttle reservations.
Disney runs a shuttle from the airport to your resort called Disney's Magical Express. It is free but you do have to have a reservation. Everyone staying on Disney property (including Coronado Springs) is eligible for the shuttle but you do have to call the central reservation # (the # used to book rooms should work---407-939-1020) and provide them with your flight information and the # of people in your party. Disney will then mail you luggage tags which enables you to tag your luggage, check it in at your home airport, then not have to deal with your bags in Orlando. (!!) When you arrive in Orlando you will take a short tram from the arrival gates to the main terminal. Follow the signs directly to "B side", then take the escalator or elevator to level 1 where you will board a beautiful, sparkling clean "motorcoach" bound for your particular resort. Disney will pick up your luggage for you at the airport and will deliver it to your room. (Magical!)
Guests should keep in mind that they may not receive their bags for several hours so you should keep a bag with you containing medicines, swimsuit, sunglasses, change of clothes, diapers...whatever you might need for the 1st few hours at your resort. (I would especially keep this in mind if you fly in on Friday and have your 1st workout outfit with you. Note: Resort check-in time is 4pm and Road Trip check-in is at 1 pm. You may not get a room-or your luggage-until 4pm.)
Hope this helps and I can't wait to meet all of you!
