Happy, happy, happy feet!!!!!:):):):):) When I 1st starting running, I wore Ryka running shoes and I really loved them, which of course meant they discontinued the model. I bought a different model of Ryka runners, they were ok, but a little hard on the bottom. This is about the time my PF started to bug me - I have a feeling it is/was the shoes. They are about done for, so I figured I'd try another brand, and since so many of you wear Asics, I ordered a pair from Zappos Mon morn, and they came yesterday. I tried them on last night and soooooo comfy. I did a test jog around the living room last night, and didn't want to take them off. I woke up this morning with my foot bothering me, as it has been recently, but dang it - it is running day. I've got a 10k in April that I need to be ready for. Put my new sneaks on and headed out the door. Foot heaven!!!! Nothing hurt, couldn't feel my feet pounding the ground. Best running shoe I've ever, ever had. Plus, the design on them is silver, navy, and dark purple. With the silver, I look like I'm moving fast, even if I'm not:p

Happy tootsies for Thursday!

In addition to being a gamer, with the performance qualities of ASICS proprietary Trusstic System and the shock attenuation of the GEL Cushioning System, the GEL-Rocket is an outstanding value and has a clean style that makes it easy on the eyes.

What is that now? Is my shoe a gamer? AND it is easy on the eyes? NICE!!

I agree!

As a runner, I wore Saucony for years. Then I started running less and doing more aerobics, weights, etc. I switched to Asics Gels, and love them! My fave for years...

I have unhappy knees and a joint problem in my foot... any shoe that can keep me going is well worth it!

Always wore New Balance and then couldn't find any so I got Asics. Love them! I also think they are very comfy.

Another Asics fan here! I wear Nikes to the gym, mostly for the look, but I only do cardio in Asics. SO comfy. Also, oddly, I've found that the cheaper Asics are more comfortable than the pricey ones. Go figure.

Asics sizing

I don't know about others, but I find that Asics run small... sometimes a full size small.

Just a heads up for anybody who is considering switching to Asics. Great brand, but on the small side.

What a coincidence! I have a pair of Asics and this pair is the most comfortable running shoe I've ever owned. Like running on a cloud.

However, I paid $120 for a pair of Asics when I was training for my marathon, but really felt no difference from a pair I paid less than half the price for. I think they were the Gel Kayanos. In fact, I think I paid less than $40 for the ones I'm in love with right now.
