I've been struggling with pull ups and chin ups - the "up" part is not so much "up" as grunting and swearing. I have lots of strength, so I'm not sure why I have such a hard time with these. I thought I would give this a try. Has anyone tried this with any success?
Those recommendations are what many Catheites have used to improve their pull up success while doing P90x.
I noticed the the article said you should expect their program to take 12 weeks. Women just don't have the same amount of upper body muscle as men. You saw in STS that Cathe's seemed to reach her max w/ 10 (seated) pull ups and she's seriously strong and seriously tiny!! Conversely, the STS guys could bang out 30+ no sweat.
