Those recommendations are what many Catheites have used to improve their pull up success while doing P90x.

I noticed the the article said you should expect their program to take 12 weeks. Women just don't have the same amount of upper body muscle as men. You saw in STS that Cathe's seemed to reach her max w/ 10 (seated) pull ups and she's seriously strong and seriously tiny!! Conversely, the STS guys could bang out 30+ no sweat.

I'm sure you'll improve, but it takes time. :)
 
These look good! I'll have to try the pull ups and the military push ups! I used to do MPUs back in my early 30s :eek:

Now, I'm having to start over! :(
