Arvigo Abdominal Massage

Hi all,

Just want to share my good experience with you.

I have IBS, and I often get up 3 to 5 times
per night to pee which causes sleep loss.
I decided to try Arvigo Maya Abdominal Massage for the IBS
The woman doing my massage said that my uterus was tipped
forward and resting on my bladder. I have had the massage twice
and do home care massage that she showed me. The last 4 nights I have
slept almost 6 hrs straight without having to pee and I don't feel
the pressure on my bladder like I used to.
There is a web site about this type of massage.

I notice that I have a lot more energy for my workouts now that
I have been sleeping through the night.

Hmmm - I wonder if that would help with bladder control issues. I just posted a question before i read this. Thanks for sharing.

Cindy, is it your IBS that's putting pressure on the bladder in addition to the uterus sitting on the bladder? I only ask because there's also a bladder problem called interstitial cystitis that makes people pee a lot and feels like pressure on the bladder or pain in the bladder or just having to pee all the time. It's an actual inflammation of the bladder lining, and is very often misdiagnosed because a lot of physicians don't know much about it. Anyhow, glad the massage is helping, but if the problem recurs you might google interstitial cystitis (there's a great website called the Interstitial Cystitis Network which answers a lot of questions about it.) I have interstitial cystitis and a really great medicine called Elmiron has helped me a lot. Hopefully the massage will continue to work wonders for you, but just wanted you to be aware of all the possibilities :)

Hi Diane,

Thanks for the info. I will searh the internet about the
interstitial cystitis. When I would wake up at night to pee
all I could feel was pressure not really the need to pee and I had no idea why. I went to this massage for the IBS
and it ended up helping the bladder pressure. It also is
helping the IBS along with very careful eating. The woman who
did the massage said chronic constipation (like I have had with
the IBS) can cause the uterus to tip so we are working on that
too.
