Arrrrgggg! This cricket is driving me CRAZY!!!

A thought: crickets don't like to be found (see my other post), and might be disuaded from revealing their location by chirping by some other sound. Can you play music? That might shut him/her up. On the other hand, s/he might just start to sing along!

Thanks everyone!! Oh, I have a bird story too...:) I had birds get into my apt. through my dryer vents and they pooped in there and built nests. It was gross and my dryer smelled like bird poop. Then bird mites started getting into our apartment (through our air vents) and bit us all over. We had bites all on our arms legs and my little boy even had some on his belly. :( These were supposed to be "luxury" apartments too. Needless to say we broke our lease and moved out.

The thing is, I can't tell if it's behind my desk or my co-worker's desk and these desks are all connected and tight up against the wall. Oh, and there's a partition between the desk and wall too, so I can't see it. x(

I like the playing music idea. I might just try to zone him out.

Thank GOD I am off tomorrow!!!

Dani, here's what you do....

Lean over and whisper in the cricket's ear "The guy in the office nextdoor thinks crickets are a delicacy!" That oughtta shut him up! }(

Day NUMBER FIVE!! Cricket was chirping LOUDLY all morning long.

I came back from lunch just now, and one of my co-workers said he saw it jump out and stomped on it!

I'm sorry to anyone who posted and said they didn't want it killed.

But it's gone. No more chirping!!!!!!!
