Are ya'll sick of us yet???

Well one more day and I would have been sick and tired of you heifers ;-) That one's for Hee Haw Jes and Kind Marla :)

I used to be one of those women who had more men friends than women friends. I'm trying to change that now. This weekend was great and I am so happy that everyone got along so well. It was amazing and seemed like we had known each other already for years!

Love you, girls :)

I was a little concerned about posting so much about the roadtrip too for fear of making the nonattendees feel bad. You guys are SO great! I hope that those who didn't attend because they were anxious about not knowing people, etc. will go next time. There are so many of you I'd love to get to know in person. Thanks for your reassuring posts to this thread. And thanks for starting it, Marla.

NO! We want MORE MORE MORE!!! Next best thing to being there. My productivity at work has seriously dropped since Monday because I want every little detail of the road trip since I didn't go. I wake up in the middle of the night laughing about the Target pike! And secondy-second street. So keep the stories and photos coming!

For me it has just has me determined to go if there is another one. I love the pictures and can't stay off the forums for too long cuz I want to read about it all (like THAT'S the only reason I can't stay away too long:p ):7

LOL! Jes used that word "heifers" when we were in the hotel room and I died laughing. http://www.phpbbforfree.com/forums/images/smiles/lmao4.gif She said it was a Texas thing!

So true! I had such a great time with everyone there and I felt we really bonded...I know that sounds corny. http://www.phpbbforfree.com/forums/images/smiles/innocent2.gif But, it was so GREAT!

This was us when Cathe and Cedie walked in for the first time:

Joni, that's so funny! I'm still waking up at night laughing about that stuff too. I laugh in the car on my way to work, whenever I think about it. LOL! I'm still looking for secondy-second street!
Poor Emily, she'll never live that down. :p

I'll never be able to walk into a Target again without giggling, thanks to Shelley. :p

I'm not tired of reading about it yet!!! I also love seeing all the photos and putting names with faces. One questions, tho, was there a point where you all got up and introduced yourselves? Or did you just wander around and meet people on your own? Just curious!!:7

Marla-

Thanks for thinking we might get tired of road trip talk- even though you're WRONG!! I think it's so fun to hear about all of this and everyone's perspectives on Cathe and the crew and the trip.

I love working out at home, but it does get a little lonely sometimes. This forum helps me feel less lonely- I imagine various poster's aches and pains or form questions, or which poster really enjoys a certain workout, etc. It feels so good to know I'm not alone with my interests in working out and my admiration for Cathe.

I am glad to hear everyone was pleasantly surprised with the vibes of the group. Maybe more of us can go next year.

Thanks for sharing your experiences!

Hi Edie!

We didn't really introduce ourselves but at the Welcoming party we handed out everyone's Who's Who book by calling out names at a very FAST pace! Ha! I wish we would have had more time to introduce PLUS announce their screen name. It took awhile for us to wander around and figure out who was who. We did have name tags also that helped. I absolutely agree that it was unbelievable how each & every member bonded. I seriously don't think there was a soul left out. It just seemed like this group meshed sooo well. Cathe attracts THE NICEST people!

RE: Hi Edie!

I was absolutely amazed at all of us women getting along so well. I thought it might be a little competitive with all of the die-hard fitness fanatics but we were all able to laugh at ourselves and not take things too seriously. I think the coordiators(debbie, kathy and lorrayne) really helped with the mood of the trip. They were so friendly and just plain delightful. I noticed that the minute Cedie walked into the classroom we were all smiling like a child that saw barney...giddy with excitement. Then we we saw that just sent us right over the edge into complete bliss. I just have to get my life back and stay of this dang forum.

Susan:) :)

We pretty much started going up to people in the lobby & bar to see if they were part of the Cathe Road Trip. Several said Yes! The next day we were going to the lame-ass pool & one of the managers yelled out "you must be part of the road trip." Just a little worrisome.

I've been having a blast readinga bout everyone's experiences! Keep them coming! I also, was one of the ones a little leary about attending. I've met other fitness "idols" and been bitterly disappointed and was really worried that that is how I would feel about Cathe and I just couldnt bear it! So I just avoided the road trip. Now however, sounds like my worries were groundless! I'll be the first one to sign up when she has another one! Are we going to have to wait a whole year though!!!??? I know she's tired and all but I was thinking, August looks good for me! :) Keep the posts and pictures coming!

I know what you mean. August is good for me, too!:) I really think she is going to need 2 road trips a year. I have a feeling the next one is going to be cat fight trying to get in!

I agree! Maybe next year's will be two weekends in a row. Have two groups so more people can come. :)

August is good for me too! I had already had two trips planned in July, so I couldn't make the trip. I really hope that Cathe gives us a little more notice, so I can make the trip next time. I wish I could have been there, but the pics & stories are great too. I am glad everyone keeps posting pics and talking about the experience. It is very enjoyable to read.

I'm sooooo bad at large groups. I usually turn into the worst kind of wallflower and can't find anyone to talk to. Also, socializing zaps my energy so I can't imagine taking so many intense classes in that kind of setting. But the whole experience just looks and sounds so great, I'm really tempted to try it next year.

Did anyone start out shy and wind up okay? Just curious.
