Anyone who knows anything about WW!!

The more the merrier I say!! Anyone who wants to check in..do so:)
I think we should start the check-in tomorrow.Just to let each other know how much we have to lose, ask whatever questions we have...so on and so forth.
It is great to have support and to know that your not in it alone.I have no one to do it with here.So this is going to be great. We can weigh ourselves every saturday morning( starting tomorrow), does that sound o.k? I know that where I live they have weigh ins on Monday, and I think people found that harder b/c you couldn't really go out and have a good weekend. You were afraid that the scale was gonna show it on MOnday. But if we weigh in on Saturday morning and then we want to do something that involves food or beverages saturday night we won't feel to guilty indulging.Thats when we can use up our banked points!
What does everyone think? Sound good? :7

Lori,

This sounds great to me. I do not have a points book, so I guess I should join WW online right? I will join you on your check-in when it is formed. Well, I have 20lbs. to lose....I lost 65lbs three years ago and have recently had a mojor set back in diet and workouts. Like Oprah says: " But, that's another show." See you at check-in. Deb

For those who need a plan to follow I say, "more power to you" but for myself I never follow a diet plan and never could. For a few pounds I would recommend reducing your portions slightly and cutting back on junk foods and making sure you make exercise a priority. Eat clean and natural. Lots of veggies and fruits, whole grains, lean proteins and healthy fats in the form of olive oil, canola oil and nuts and avacados. Add in an occasional indulgence and you are good to go! Good luck and keep us posted!

Yeah, you sound alot like myself Deb! I use to have awesome eating habits...but like francine said, I probably sufer from burn out.Was bound to habit sometime.I wouldn't even eat an egg for cry'in out loud.Anyway,We will be chatting with everyone tomorrow morning.Dust your scales off and get out that measuring tape!
I just had some cookie dough ice cream to end my poor eating habits off with.Out with the old and in with the NEW! Just imagine how great we will all feel and look when those christmas parties roll around:)

Maybe a little late on this thread but wanted to make some comments. I did WW 3 years ago myself, lost 13 pounds or so. Oops, got pregnant. Now I'm trying to get rid of 20 pounds of baby fat. Me and a friend started the South Beach Diet this week and I find for me (and her too) that it sucks. No fruit, no pasta, bread, rice, sugar the first 2 weeks. After that you start adding in some carbs. I find it very hard, the book tells you not to feel hungry but by the time you eat enough meat and vegetables (no carrots, corn, potatoes), I'm sure the calorie count can get high. We are into day 5 of the first 14. I've lost 4 pounds. Most dietiticans will say this part is unhealthy. I already plan on going back to WW after another couple of weeks for maintanence and any further loss. I thought WW sucked when on it, now after South Beach, WW is a dream. Even working out doing SB isn't speeding the weight loss up. I'm doing the CTX series on just the bench while doing this because of the low energy level and that I'm healing from a very bad sprained ankle. I want to be able to make cookies with my 3yr old this fall and not feel terrible about it.
Like I said, this is just how it is working for me.
