Hi everybody,

I'm wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of results you were able to get with the Shock Your Body Rotation that Cathe posted in November? I'm looking at this for August, since I still don't feel well acquainted with the last set of DVD's she did and I want to use them more. This looks like an intense rotation - how did it work for you all? Let me know what to expect, I'm getting psyched!!

Thanks,
Tricia

I did this rotation and liked the results I got from it. I also remember my hips losing an inch or so. The only "downer" for me was: I like to work out for about an hour a day, and with this rotation almost everyday was over an hour~ way to long for me. sometimes I found my attention wandering. I stuck with it though because it was new and I wanted to learn the dvds.

Not sure if that was helpful....x( but if you don't mind longer workout times, I'm sure you'll love it:)

Thanks, Deanie and Catherine. I have already been doing a rotation that has me working out over an hour per day, so this won't be a problem for me. I'm hoping it will be fun and also help me melt off a few pounds! I'm doing a Muscle building rotation this month, so i'd like to change it up a bit next month and this looks like I will get very familiar with the last workout series Cathe did.

Thanks for the feedback,
Tricia

I also did this rotation. I burned a lot of calories doing these workouts but they were also especially long and I got real hungry after doing them. My DH actually said I looked really good and toned after this rotation so that was a good sign. I prefer heavy lifting to endurance and circuit workouts so it wasn't my favorite rotation but it was a good one. Mostly all of the workouts were over 60 mins. so make sure you have plenty of time set aside.

I did this rotation in November and I am doing it again right now. I have noticed an increase in edurance and my clothes feel looser. I tend to lose more weight an inches with circuits rather than heavy weights or more cardio. It just depends on what works for your body. So give it a try. I also like that it is longer than a hour. I prefer longer w/outs.

Thanks to everyone who has responded - I'm definitely starting this on August 1! I'm looking forward to this soo much, because I feel I will know these workouts inside out by the time it's all done. And hopefully, that will be just in time for the new workouts to arrive!!

Wish me luck,
Tricia

Another question...

I'm going to try to do this with the runs she has noted. But since I'm not a runner, I'm not sure how to go about it. How do you warm up on the treadmill...Possibly 3-5 minutes of easy jogging, then move up to a brisker pace, followed by how much time to cool down?

And if I can't take the running, what else would you suggest? I read in another post that Cathe suggested some form of exercise that you don't do often, to provide the shock to your system. So maybe some Hi/Lo would be a good sub since I definitely don't do that often?

Thanks again for the input - Today is BodyMax 2!! I'm gettin' psyched, alright, alright, alright!!!
