Anyone vote for an American Idol?

For the first time, my son and I wanted to vote for an American Idol, last night. Well, I tried here and there for over an hour and kept getting a busy signal...then gave up.
Anyone ever vote and get through?

I help my daughter vote each week, and we always get through! One night, we had to hit redial 8 times for Bo, but it went right on through on the 9th. We didn't get to vote last night, though, because of a softball game, so I don't know what the lines were like.

I agree Sarah! I just love him! He always sounds great and looks like a natural up there. I like Carrie and Vonzell too, but there's something about Bo. Even if he doesn't win he's going to be a big hit.

Oh yeah, voting...I have never even tried though I was thinking about it. I was getting tired of everybody else leaving and not Scott.x( I really liked Nadia. My daughter wants Carrie to win.

My kids have and American Idol karaoke machine in the basement, so you can imagine what I get to listen to when they get home from school. They're so cute!:)

Unfortunately, my 5 year old son has the American Idol DRUM SET in his bedroom!!! :eek: I'll trade ya it for your karaoke machine!! At least something resembling music should be coming out of it!

I've voted before but I was so tired last night, I forgot. I really, really want him to win. Vonzell is great, too, but I really hope Bo wins. (Carrie is good but she bores me...)

We were going to vote for Bo also! Maybe that's why the line was busy for so long. Hey, my 5 year old doesn't have anything noisey! Poor kid, but luckly Mama. hahaha

This is the first season I've actually watched the whole thing. And yes, I have actually voted. I'm all about Bo. Although Carrie's voice is amazing - she will get a contract out of this either way. Vonzell's voice is good, but she's a little young and needs a little more grooming and vocal coaching - she'll be ready in a year or two.
 
I tried, but didn't get thru. I just love Bo and want him to win! Too bad Constantine didn't make it as far. He was so intriguing.

YEA! BO! I just love him - ever since the beginning. He just really stands out above the others! i did like Nadia alot, too. She should still be on. I really have grown to like Vonzell, but, not like my Bo. I agree w/another poster -Carrie is good, but she kind of annoys me. She's too wooden or trying too hard or something.

Anyway - just keep hitting redial or try later in the night (i think lines are open for 2 hrs?) everyone probably dials in right at 9pm. Last night they had 2 lines for ea. one, i got thru on 2nd line after about 10 redials.

I vote several times every week. But I have Cingular Wireless with a flat rate for text messaging...so it's no problem for me to get through. I probably wouldn't bother if I had to deal with the busy signal.

I voted for Bo about 12 times last night and Vonzell about 8. Not for Carrie at all. I think she's very good, but I like Vonzell's personality better and I think she's just more entertaining.
 
I'm not into American Idol enough to vote but I'm a total Bo Bice fan also! I will definitely buy his album when he comes out with one!Angela:7
 
Well I love Bo! I thought he was AMAZING last night when he sang acapella! He's really just phenomenal! I like Vonzell too! She definitely has a great personality and stage presence. I love her voice, especially when she sang one of Whitney Houston's songs...not an easy thing to do. I just don't like Carrie. There is just something about her that annoys me.

Having said all of that, I did not vote! If Carrie wins, shame on me!

I like all three finalists...I don't think I could pick just one. Although Bo is...well, he is just B0-licious!

I tried to get through 3 times and gave up. Bo would have been my choice last night. Excellent singing. However, I guess I am in the minority here because Carrie would be my next in line. Great voice and totally down to earth. Vonzelle thinks she is gods gift to the world. Blah! Good voice, but very vain and seems to only do certain types of songs well.

I actually haven't voted since the first season, but when I did vote I found the easiest way to get through was to actually start dialing as soon as they start showing the recap of phone numbers. During the recap I could get probably 3 or 4 votes in before the rest of the world started calling.

I got through twice for Bo last night. I just was shocked I got through once & then tried again right away & got through. I've tried before but never got through. I can't wait for tonight! Coleen
 
Go Bo! I actually got through voting for him last night! I was so excited. I think the a cappella song cinched the whole competition for him. Vonzell is my next choice, and yes, Carrie bores me to tears. She can sing, but seems to have the personality of a rock.
