Anyone suffer from Morton's Neuroma?

I am rather convinced that I have this problem. Does anyone suffer from this? What do you do for treatment? I have been suffering for quite a few months. I bought insoles for my shoes and that helped for a while, but now I either need new ones or should bite the bullet and see a doctor.

I teach 6 step classes a week and it's started to affect that because of the pain. I'm going to buy new shoes and insoles this weekend to see if the pain goes away - if not I suppose I better make an appointment. :(

Thanks for any help or suggestions.
Marcia.

I had this years ago when in college. I was working at Wal-Mart, doing a lot of walking on hard floors. The bones in the ball of the foot press together, pinching the nerves. I had little tumors on the nerve, and it caused all kinds of pain up my leg to my knee. I ended up having out-patient surgery to remove the nerve. Years later, I started to have the same problem in the other foot (at a new job), and I immediately switched to better shoes, and solved the problem. If you let it go too far, surgery may be required.

Teaching step will definitely put some strain and pressure on the ball of your foot, even with great shoes. Good luck. It's not a major thing, but it does hurt!!
