Anyone planning on ordering the new DVDs?

Well, I don't see why most of you advanced steppers would get this one. But for me, I keep hoping that one of the step videos will actually be simple enough for me to follow. I have everything called "beginner", but so far, no luck. Maybe this will be the one? I haven't decided yet whether I'm willing to risk it. It's not the money so much as the shelf space.

As for strength training, it sounds too easy. And as for the stretch one, it sounds a lot like the Hardcore stretch workout.

I just ordered them together with Imax 2 dvd.

Currently I am doing Freestyle rotation, I want to use very light weight but high repetitions to burn fat and tone down lower body. I don't have Body Fusion. I think this will give me a variety to come up some mix & match, making a long tough workout.

I couldn't wait for Imax 2 after so many people talking good about it.

I ordered the step one, but not the stretching. I'm pregnant and I think that this sounds perfect for the 3rd trimester and for those early post partum weeks.

I also ordered the IMAX 2/C&W dvd and cardio hits dvd(have them on video, but am in the long and expensive process of replacing all my vids with dvd:p )

I hope she comes out with another advanced series sooooon!!!

I ordered. The timing is perfect! I'll need easier workouts as my pg progresses and for post-baby. Even though I modify like crazy, there're a lot of my Cathes I just don't want to do these days (i.e., the IMAXs, S & H, BC). I used the preorder as an excuse to order BS/BF so I can have another more basic workout to choose from.

I often work out with my 13 year old and her friend and they are not ready for advanced step, so count us in. What am I doing here? I SHOULD BE PACKING FOR THE ROAD TRIP!!!!!

I have looked at these new DVD pictures. Since when did it become a beginner workout to use the stability ball instead of a bench?

I'm not trying to be argumentative but I'm 40 years old & have worked out since I was 15. I have used both home videos & the gym. I've never seen anyone use a stability ball like this. I have enough problems using the ball for non-weighted workouts without picking up a weight & holding it over my head. That just scares me.

I think I'll pass on pre-order, wait for the clips to be uploaded & maybe only order the stretch dvd.

I won't be getting them. I'm not interested in beginner/intermediate workouts from Cathe (I have other instructors who fit the intermediate range of my workouts).

Since these are produced by the Step Co., they will most likely have the same drap music as the other beginner/intermediate workouts Cathe made (which I found uninteresting, and aesthetically unpleasing).

I also suspect that they will be modified versions of workouts that already exist, since they seem to have been put together rather quickly.

BUT, if you are a beginner/intermediate, don't mind drab music or the less-pretty (IMO) production, and want a good deal, I think the pre-order price is good.

I got them, as I can't pass up the price. I don't really want beginner/intermediate workouts but I will use the harder premixes and add intensity to them. I like to have lots of variety in my selection of Cathe and I have everything from Pure Strength to Hardcore and I'm saving for the next advanced series!

You know I might just get these. ONly because they might make a great gift for my MIL that is always trying to lose weight and I'm always talking about Cathe, but I know that there is no way that she can start off with Cathe. She has a hard time with the Slim Series. So, myabe this will be right up her alley. That way I can take advantage of the free shipping and get some Hard Core workouts. I'm gald that one of you thought of that! Thank you!
