Anyone out there do Sandbag training or use equalizer bars?

Hi guys,

I saw this equipment and thought hmmm, I could probably use that. I was just wondering if anyone has either or both of these and what do you think of them?

I just bought both because I'm going to do the 30 day body rock challenge...haven't used then yet, though!
 
Hi,

I think I will try to get DH to make some equalizer bars for me. I found the description and pictures on the website for free workout equipment ideas. Homemade Equalizer | Hiit Blog and FREE Equipment Idea's ! | Hiit Blog for other ideas. I love the equalizer bars and the sandbags but can't afford them so I found these ideas helpful and budget friendly. I hope you find them helpful or feel free to pass them on should someone need it.

I guess I'm out of the loop on this one. What is the equalizer bar and what can be done on it? I'm assuming the sand bag is like a backpack with sand you put on during workouts, like a weighted vest? I have no way to do chin ups/pull ups and would love to. Is this something I can use the bar for because it looks easy to make. Any info would be great.

These videos will show you how the equipment can be used. I hope that helps and answers your questions. Yes, you can do pull ups on the equalizer bars it will show you in the videos.

Those equalizer bars look cool, & I would try those sandbags. I like anything that uses your muscles a little differently.
 
How to get the discount?

this caught my eye so I went to the site and it says if you get the equalizer now you save $25 and get free bands. When I added it to my cart it didn't deduct anything or add anything free. I can't seem to find a contact # or email. Anyone have any ideas?

I just checked their website Equipment and it doesn't show the equalizer bars as being on special sales price. Maybe you were looking at an old sale on a old page or something. When I checked this just now it showed the equalizer bars sale price of $119.99 which is the regular price. The only special sales priced items were the Green Military Sand bag, and Sand bag Dip Station combo with skipping rope. As for contacting them I'd suggest contacting them via facebook leaving them a private message or something
