Anyone NOT like High Step Challenge?

I did it this morning and just didn't feel like I got a good workout, even though I really did like some of the new exercises. I might just have to do it again...
That said...I've really been enjoying the series otherwise. I feel like it is really fine-tuning my muscles, getting in deeper, at different angles with more deliberate moves.
 
I am loving my Hardcores too but sold HSC. I tried it about 4 times and just didn't like it. The only part I liked was the band work. I just didn't warm up to it-no particular reason. We can't expect to love every single workout I guess. But I admit I felt a bit guilty about selling a Cathe!!
 
I've only done this w/o once and wasn't really impressed with it. I much prefer HSTA, which is one of my favorites.

I didn't care for it either. I think I would have liked it if it had an upper body/lower body premix. I love the premixes from HSTA.

i actually like it. not as much as some of her other workouts.. but i do like it.. still undecided as to if i like it better than HSTA or not.. i like everything else about HSTA except all those step ups...

i like the aerobics better for HSTA. (on HSC the step forward, back, then bring your knee up and arc it.. not aerobic at all!)

cute work out clothes are good for AT LEAST an additional 10-15 calories burned!
 
I found this not as challenging as her other circuit workouts, but it is fun. I include 5 cycles of Imax 1,2 or 3 with this workout. You may want to add more cardio if you have extra time.
 
I did this workout for the first time yesterday and I thought it was a great workout.. really hard because it mixed up so much and got your heart rate up and down.. Great back and shoulder exercises. Actually every muscle in my body hurts today. The core workout was really good too. I found it very challenging and am including it in my regular circuit (pardon the pun) of the two other high step Cathe DVD's I have. Highly recommended!!
 
I don't like it either. The cardios are kind of boring, with the additional bad factor (for me, anyway) of being high impact at times. I especially dislike the zigzag jumprope move which she also has on the blasts of kickmax. Overall, I don't like all the impact in the cardio sequences of the series. My favorite is definitely low max, which I can do without modifications and get a sustained cardio workout.
 
Wow, I'm surprised there isn't a love fest going on over this workout. It's my favorite next to Imax 3. I love them all actually but HSC just wipes me out. It reminds me of the old Firms in the way I feel spent after, huge sweat factory. I need to lose weight, so I'm doing this workout twice a week. My body seems to respond better to this style of weight work. The leg drills at the end of Kick Max also remind me of Firm Vol 1. The burn is so awesome! I am starting to see some muscle definition in my thighs already. I am just loving all of HC!!
 
I am not feeling the love for it either. I like circuit workouts well enough, like Bootcamp and Circuit Max, but not this one.

I don't like my heart rate to get down too low. Like near the end, you are on the floor doing chest work and your HR goes way down, then you get up for more cardio. That did not go well for me.

I will keep it though. For a day when I really don't want much cardio. Even though those days are few and far between.
 
Nope, didn't like it

In fact, I have been disappointed with this series all together. I bought them early in the presale so I paid a good price. I knew that if I didn't like them I could sell them on ebay. WRONG I can't give them away.
 
I like it!

I have only tried this workout once and I really liked it!! I like the variety. So far I am really enjoying this entire series.

But maybe I am biased because I always like what Cathe does... :+
