Anyone in Iowa? Weather?

I'm here in Minnesota just waiting here for our first snow storm. Anybody in Iowa going through the storm? What can we expect?

P.S. I am teaching aerobics and wonder if I need to worry about driving home or maybe even cancel altogether.

OMG, Marcia! It is about 75 degrees here today with lots of sunshine. Got all my windows open and loving it. Been so unusually warm for awhile for this time of year. Guess we will have our turn next. Not looking forward to the cold weather. I like to sweat!!!

Marcia- We here in Michigan are waiting for the snow too, but first we have to get past the thunderstorms and tornado watch ahead of that cold front that will hit us about 11pm tonight. I am never amazed with midwest weather, mild and tornado watches to snow and cold in 1 day :-(
 
Joanne - where are you in MI. I am in the Thumb area. It is dark, gloomy, rainy and just plain gross.

Dawn- I am on the western side by Grand Rapids. I do not know why we do? I bet being in the thumb you have the same problem as us, lake effect snow which makes it even worse x(
 
I'm in the Detroit area (Gibraltar). As far as I know, I don't think they are predicting snow yet, but it is chilly and crappy out right now. I live right on Lake Erie, so we get the lake effect too.

Iowa here!!!! Snowing as we speak. 4-6 inches expected in our area with winds expected up to 50mph tonight. I'm hoping for a snow day tomorrow!!! Hope it misses you guys.

Where are you in MN??? I'm up in Princeton, and it's COLD and RAINY!! I've heard up here it's only going to end up being a couple inches, but then blowing like a by-gosh tomorrow and Thursday...I'm tucked in for the next couple of days...Everything that I need to do can be done via phone, fax or e-mail!!!

This sucks. I'm in northern Illinois and we're supposed to get snow and strong winds tonight. Central Illinois could get tornadoes. I haven't finished picking up my leaves!! Where did fall go all of a sudden?!?!

My bf is going hunting in faaaar northern Wisconsin this weekend and they are expecting TONS of snow up there.

North Carolina here and 72 degrees, muggy and drizzly rain off and on today. Tomorrow that cold front is suppose to rip through here with thunderstorm warnings. Our daytime temps are going down into the 50's and lows in the 20's for Thursday. North Carolina doesn't have the fierce winters you in the north have but we can have our share of the cold. Hopefully we won't have any single digit lows this winter. I hate that weather especially when you are feeding a horse at 5:00 in the morning and can't feel your hands!!

I live in Hudsonville; I don't know where Whitmore Lake is!

I plan on moving in a few years (where there is NO SNOW!) after my son turns 18 (I'm a single mom). :)
