Anyone have Cathe's med ball?

My dog decided to play with my med ball and now I need a new one. Does anyone have Cathe's 8 pound 2 in 1 ball? Is it a solid ball or does it have sand inside? I have kettlebells so I really don't need the handles but I have some credit over at Amazon and could get it for around $20.

I'm open to any recommendations but just don't want to spend too much as I don't use one that often.

TIA!

I have it Judi and it is solid. I actually like the handle because I have a hard time holding on to the ball when my hands get sweaty :p

Thanks Catherine!! Good idea about the handles with the sweat factor....I didn't think of that. Off to Amazon to buy it:)

It is a solid ball and I like it. It does convert to a kettlebell if you want.

I have the 8lb one.

Cathe uses the balls in some of her Ab Circuits.

Did you get the 90 minute DVD with yours? I saw it on Amazon and am considering getting it since it's Cathe doing the workout with the kettlebell.

What 90 min dvd?

Oh and BTW, it is NOT usable as a true kettlebell. I wouldn't even try it. For one it's way too light and two it's too bulky.

I just checked the 8#medball on Amazon and I didn't see a 90 min video. Maybe I was looking for the wrong thing. Anyway the one that I got from Cathe.com came with an instructional dvd. It is not a workout, just shows a few exercises that can be done with the equipment.

I have it, and I agree with Catherine -- makes it easier to hold onto when you're sweaty, or doing exercises where you're holding it away from your body (or over your head -- ouch!).

My kids use it as a kettlebell, since I wouldn't want them swinging around a real one!

I just received it from Amazon and there was a mini dvd in the box. I haven't looked at it but the box noted "an exclusive dvd workout by Cathe included". I'll let you know what is on the dvd once I get a chance to view it.

I really like the ball, very solid and has a good grip feel to the rubber.
