Anyone have a rotation idea for newbie runner?

Hi guys,

I have been using our treadmill for the first time since DH brought it into the house, I guess I needed a change or something b/c I couldn't get motivated to do Cathe. (That's saying something!)

Well, I actually got a intro run/walk routine that Cathe posted for me to get me going and now I feel like I'm ready to extend it. (It's about 28-30 minutes.) I'm looking for ideas of working with my Cathe's and treadmill. Does anyone have rotations of their own or ones Cathe posted that having treadmill in them?

I'd also take any advice you want to hand out!

PS - my main focus right now is to shed excess fat, which I feel more cardio may accomplish for me. (I am carrying about 5-10 pounds I could live without, mainly around my center.)

I don't have a rotation to give you but also got a TM recently, last Nov.

What I did was follow the advice of a poster on one of the Check in boards and go to runnersworld.com and there you can create a running rotation depending on your goals.

I am currently doing NROLW which is 3 days of weights per week - then use my runnersworld plan for 3 days of cardio. I have adjusted a bit and am now incorporating some HIIT which I got both from the website and an article from Shape magazine.
