I did WW combined with clean eating because that is the only way to stay full on WW. Lots of fiber, no sugar. The average day now looks like this:
breakfast
slow cook oatmeal, sprinkled with flax seed, a few almonds, strawberries, and sugar free syrup
plus
some kind of protein...smoked salmon, or yogurt (I mix plain non fat yogurt with a great juice called "PomWonderful" pomegranite juice. OR sugar free yougurt. OR low/nonfat cottage cheese
lunch
open faced sandwich with tuna (tuna mixed with nonfat yogurt & mustard instead of mayo) or open faced sandwich with mustard, hummus, slices of tomato, cukes
baby carrots til I feel full
maybe a little yogurt or cottage cheese if I want
Dinner
salmon, fish or chicken (mostly) made some way, grilled or something or in a corn taco
salad or vegetable, very little butter, go easy on the dressing.
a low fat dairy or apple if I am still hungry
snacks are
nuts in moderation, pumpkin seeds, apples or other fruit as I need it.
Having a protein at breakfast helps me control my appetite
Lots of green tea, no coffee.
6 to 8 glasses of water
Calorie wise I am not sure...I think around 1200 or so but I varied it daily (splurged on the weekends....). By staying clean you will be full. If I am hungry I eat an apple! that type of thing. Sometimes had pasta for dinner...kept it to a fist size, no bigger.
I believe in moderation so I would let myself have a calzone or something on the weekends....sometimes I would have a tiny bit of sugar here and there for fun...one cookie, one piece of candy etc. Some thread mentioned varying your caloric intake throughout the week keeps your metabolism from getting sluggish. I didn't go CRAZY on the weekends but I really enjoyed them, food wise.
Also this way of eating has cleared up my skin.
