anyone ever....

That seems to me like it would be too much. I have done a Slow and Heavy rotation (making it a two day split rather than a three day split) where I've included an endurance workout on a third day. For example, I'd do something like this:

Sunday Power Hour
Monday Off
Tuesday Cardio
Wednesday S&H Biceps, Triceps, Back and Abs
Thursday Cardio
Friday S&H Chest, Shoulders & Legs
Saturday Cardio

The next month, I would then do something similar, but replace PH with Muscle Endurance and replace S&H with PUB/PLB. Or maybe I'd sub in a circuit workout for the endurance workout.

It works out pretty well for me.
