Anyone do MIS heavy at half-time

It seems I remember someone commenting they did a Cathe tape (don't remember which one) with heavier weights and did only half as many reps as Cathe. I would like to do this with MIS tomorrow, just because I've had a hankering to do a heavy workout. PS is even too fast for me to go real heavy. If I am remembering correctly and someone has done this, how did it go? Did you seem off kilter doing half time reps. Do you feel like you still got a good workout? Was it just as fun, since you were still working out "with" the crew?

I've done it using heavy weights. I try to keep up, but I have to take longer breaks between sets and exercises. I like to mix things around. Give it a try!
 
Yes

I do the one armed rows for the back, all bicep work, all shoulder work, the lying down tricep work and the chest presses at approximately 2/3 to 1/2 time, with heavier weights. I have a very hard time gaining muscle, and I think this has helped me become a little stronger. I do the other exercises at Cathe's speed, because there are fewer reps, or it just seems to make sense at the time to do it that way!

I have also worked out a routine with the PS DVD where I only do two exercises for each bodypart from the Mix-n-Match section, and go heavier and slower on those. That is really fun and time efficient.
