Anybody want to join weight watchers with me??

I joined when my baby was about 6 weeks old but just could not get into the program. He is not 14 weeks. Lately I have been having trouble motivating myself to keep the weight going down. I am planning on rejoining WW next week and though it might be fun if anyone else on this forum also joins! I participate in the weekly weight loss check in on this forum (which is a great group!) and though it would also be great to have someone else doing WW to check in with.

Hey, good luck with WW! It's an incredible program, and a smart way to go. Keep us posted. I have the At Home Program, and it's just great.

Just Do It! :)

Hi Marci:

I rejoined WW in August, started with Cathe in Sept and joined the weight loss forum last week! So..I'd be happy to be your WW/Cathe buddy!

Hi Marci,
I have thought about joining WW, but my husband isn't too thrilled about the idea. First of all he doesn't like how much it costs, and he doesn't like that it would be another meeting I would have to go to. (I have a lot of meetings) On top of that I feel like I know a lot about nutrition, food journaling, exercising, etc. Going to the group would just be for accountability for me. So I guess my answer is no, but I'm very happy that you are going to go. Maybe you can give us tips you learn at our weekly weight loss check-in. See you then, Heather
p.s. How's your new baby doing? Mine is finally sleeping through the night and starting to laugh. The dark days are behind us, yeah!!

Hi Marci,
I just rejoined weight watchers online and am combining with my Cathe workouts. I would like to be your buddy. I am having trouble staying within my point range. I had originally joined in April and lost 10 pounds combining with Cathe but since then I have just maintained that loss because I was going over my points. I am finding it harder with the cold weather here to get up early and exercise and am also craving a lot of carbohydrates and hope maybe if I had someone else doing with me I would be more accountable.

I am going to start counting my points tomorrow, so I will be happy to join too!!! I could use some encouragement. I have to do like Honeybunch says "Just do it" and quite whining that I am unhappy with my weight.

OK, I'm officially a member!! Sharon, cool- it will be great to see your WW progress on the weight loss forum!

Daisyheather- that is great your baby is sleeping at night- mine is also!! He laughs, and smiles and is so much fun. My other 2 kids really love to get him laughing.
I so hear you on the nutrition knowlege part. I could probably write a book from all my research myself LOL!! But like you said the accountablity is important to me. Plus I am a stay at home mom of my 3 month old, 3 year old and 5 year old and DH helped my pick a meeting I can attend without the kids (when he is home) so it will be a nice outing for me to see other grown-ups :) I'll try and give you good tips I learn!

Phyllis, come join the weekly weight loss check in on this forum it will be great to have a few of us on there that do WW. I SO hear you on the carbs thing. If it weren't for carbs and refined sugar I would probably weight 125 lbs!!

Marci

I would love to join weight watchers with you.I would never go to a meeting b/c I don't have much to lose 5-10 pounds, and they would probably think that I am crazy.
But lately I have noticed that my jeans and dress pants are getting a little tighter. So I think that it would probably be wise to cut back a little.
I have the book and the WW point system.A friend gave it to me.She had two.Let me know when you want to start and when will we be checking in.

Phyllis, I meant to say weight loss thread not forum. Every monday there is a new thread for those of us trying to lose weight and we help support each other through the process.
