Anybody want to do a 1 week ctx check-in?

I was wondering if anyone would like to do a one week ctx check in beginning today or tomorrow and ending just before Thanksgiving??
I've not been following anything too specific lately and I was thinking I should heed my own advice about more cardio. I thought maybe if I could complete CTX and one week of eating healthy then I would be 'ready' for Thanksgiving.

Anybody interested - oh and substitutions encouraged (I'm going to do legs & glutes rather than 'meaner' legs)

Hi Joy,

I am right in the middle of CTX right now so will gladly do a check in with you! I am following the May rotation right now so will be moving on to Slow and Heavy alternating with cardio on Monday. For me, the May rotation has been the perfect way to prep for Thanksgiving!

Hi Sabine,
Great!! I just looked up the May rotation. Did you do Leaner Legs yesterday and 10-10-10- today? are you on the 19th?

Here is my plan for the coming week.
Tomorrow - legs & glutes (instead of Leaner Legs) and if I have the energy/time some abs

Fri - off
Sat - S&I
Sun - Power Circuit
Mon - kickbox
Tues - allstep
Wed - 10-10-10
Thurs - hmmm legs again? I don't like legs.

I'll miss the sat and sun days because I don't have a home computer but I'll be back on Monday!

Yup, Leaner Legs yesterday and 10-10-10 today. My legs were fried yesterday and 10-10-10 was a bit hard to get through today. And I forgot how intense the tricep work was! My arms were quaking by the end!

Thursday: either Kickbox or off
Friday: All Step
Saturday: Step and Intervals (one of my favorites)
Sunday: off or Kickbox

Monday: S&H Legs
Tuesday: Step Fit
Wednesday: S&H Chest etc.
Thursday: 5K walk to feed the hungry before the big meal. Won't feel quite as guilty that way!

Joy & Sabine-
I'd love a check-in!
I've been trying to put together my own rotation but I may mix it up a little after reviewing May's rotation again.

I've been trying to add much more cardio than I used to do and have increased my intensity to see what happens, so here's what its been looking like if you're interested (cardio day/ctx day/cardio day)

Last Friday - Boot Camp
Saturday - IMAX2
Sunday - Off
Monday - Max Cardio
Tuesday - Power Hour
Wednesday - Step Blast (plus abs)

Thursday - Leaner Legs /hi-lo segment from Max Cardio
Friday - 10-10-10
Saturday - Boot Camp
Sunday - Push/Pull
Monday - All Step
Tuesday - Lower Body Pyramid/Upper Body Pyramid
Wednesday - IMAX2 (plus abs)
Thursday - Thanksgiving!

I've been curious to see how my body responds to this... I had gotten too much into a routine so I'm trying to shake it up a little.
what do you think?
Brenda

Looks really tough}( . And I'm so jealous that you have some of the new videos worked in there. I'm waiting for the DVD's to come out. And then I'm waiting for the DVD player to play them on (but I have a feeling that Santa will come through on that request).

You could substitute any of the CTX for the new videos I think...
it sounds tough but we'll see how this week goes. The week after Thanksgiving may be a different story!

Wow Brenda, that does look tough. I don't believe I could do any cardio after leaner legs, I usually can barely walk. And are you planning to do the full pyramids for ub and lb next tues? WOW!

I did Step Blast today too, but no abs. I did manage an 8" board for parts 1 and 2 (I'm 5'6" with my length in my legs) but I had to go down to 6" for part 3 and the blast. My goodness I had a red face (from the exertion) for quite a while after I was finished.

Sabine, I'm waiting for the DVD's too. I just couldn't resist on the pre-order and I ordered the whole shebang. It was pure torture when the intensity series came out and everyone was talking about the workouts and I was waiting for the DVD. I think the dvd's will be so worth it with the combos that will be possible.

I set my sites high so we'll see how it goes - believe me, I won't be smiling through it!

On Tuesday I'll do the pyramids with lighter weights than usual so I don't kill myself.
I'll probably do the hi/lo (only first 20 minutes) before Leaner Legs just to get my heart rate up and hopefully to help burn more fat.

I'm going to do abs tonight using the stability ball, so it doesn't count yet. My Step Blast workout was a lot of jumping over the step because I'm far from mastering the steps (very uncoordinated). Good job on the 8"! The final blast WAS really tough today.

C'mon - join me!:)
