Anybody doing August 2004 Rotation?

After complaining that my lower body is starting to 'fall', quite literally, I have decided to do the August 2004 Rotation for body fat loss and toned legs & glutes.

I picked up this morning on Week 1, Wednesday. For some reason, my workout DVD player couldn't play the Pure Strength Stong Legs & Abs workout, so I had to make substitutions. I did the Legs & Buttocks section of MIS, the stability ball section of PLB, the stability ball (abs) section of PUB, and then ran for 20 minutes on the treadmill, logging just a bit over 2 miles. My legs were wobbly, but feeling good.

Anyway, is anybody else doing this rotation? Would you like to check in with me everyday?

Hi Gayle I am in the week three of the august rotation 2004. I am doing all the workouts of the week but I choose the day. For example today I have done leg and glutes and cardio and lower body bootcamp to substitute the 20 minutes of run.In the Saturday I am going to do MIC. In the weekend I sleep more and I have more energy. If you want I will check with you.

Hi! Great! How do you like this rotation, stayfit? Are you seeing and/or feeling good results?

I haven't done any of the rotations that Cathe posts because I usually can't make it past week #2 before I go off and do whatever I want. But this time I needed something for my legs and butt, so I thought why not?

I am still in week 1 of it, and today was Cardio & Weights. Tomorrow is supposed to be CTX kickbox, but I don't have it so I will sub Cardio Kicks instead.

Hi Gayle. I am emjoying this rotation. I am seeing results in my abs. This is my first cathe's rotation. I did the two first week of the november rotation but I went off for a injury. Today for me is cardio kicks and 10 minutes of the abs hits dvd. It is a pleasure join this with you. have a great weekend.

Morning, stayfit! I love MIC...have fun.

I had Cardio Kicks on the rotation for today, but I'm having problems with my DVD player and for some reason it wouldn't play that part of the DVD. I fought with it for over 15 minutes before I gave up and just decided to do something else. I wanted something tough to finish my week, so I did IMax 2. WOW! I love this workout. It was only the 2nd time I did this one, and I liked it more this time around than the first.

Hi good morning Gayle. I hope your problems with your dvd player will be finished now. I love IMAX 2 too. The music is fantastic. Today is S & H legs, 200 walking lunges and a premix of the SB/SJP dvd. Have you seen the update. Soon we will have the hardcore dvd in our anxious hands. I can not wait.Have a great workout.

Mariángeles - I am curious...is this your first name and if so, how do you pronounce it?

Today is my rest day for this week. I really feel like I need it after this past week. WOW

I did see the update, and I cannot wait for them. That's one reason I decided to do a rotation this month...to keep my mind off the new DVDs! LOL.

This is my first name. I pronounce it Mariangeles.It is difficult to explain how I pronounce my name because our pronunciations ( english and spanish)are very different.The hardcore series is one reason because I decided to try this rotation too. I have bought few outfits that Cathe uses ( the rio de janeiro clothes cathe uses in IMAX 3 , the turquoise top of low max and the pant of kickmax) and I need slim down my legs and glutes too.The Cathe´s body is not with he clothes Enjoy your rest day.

Mariángeles-when I look at your name carefully, I can see how you would say it...sorry for the 'duh' moment! LOL.

On the rotation for me today is PLB and 30 minutes Basic Step. I already did PLB, but I only have 1 hour in the morning to workout, so I had to put off the Basic Step, which I don't ahve anyway. Today after work and school, I am taking the boys to the YMCA to go swimming, so I will get in the pool and use the kickboard back and forth for 30 minutes. I hope that counts as a good substitute.

Hi Gayle, I think it is a great substitute. I have all the Cathe`s dvd and basic step is very easy and not intense. It is great in a light day. You do your workout in the early morning don't you?I admire all the people here who exercise in the early morning. I usually exercise in the afternoon monday to friday and in the morning in the weekend.I love PLB . What do you think about the exercises with a leg straight up and the other in the ball? Those exercises are killer.Today for me is CTX upper body and body fusion. Have a great day.

Mariángeles-Yes, I work out in the early morning. I usually get to my basement by 4:50am and need to be in the shower no later than 6:05am. I am slowly working on getting up 5 minutes earlier every few days and eventually I'd like to get started by 4:30am. We'll see how long that takes me! LOL I have to young children, and I work FT (DH recently passed away), so I need to get it done early enough to get to work on time and then I have time to spend with the kids in the afternoon and evening.

I love PLB, I think it is my all-time favorite. It hits every lower body muscle. And the ball work? WOW...killer stuff.

I have pretty much all of Cathe, but there are a few that I need to get yet.

Aw, shucks! LOL. No bionic woman here! Just someone who is very blessed with the ability to operate on 5 hours of sleep and 2 children who sleep thru the night!

Today is PUB and 20 minute run. This morning I did the PUB part, and the run will get in tonight. Today I increased my weights and I am now doing the same weights Cathe does on every exercise. It's cool to look back on the weights I used to use on this workout...how far we've come!

Mariángeles-what's on tap for you today? Don't you just love this rotation?

Hi Gayle, this rotation is great. You can use the Cathe uses in PUB. You go girl. I can not dream about it. I have started working hard with the weight training since I discovered Cathe in the Spring. I have to gain more muscle in my upper body. Today I am going to do Legs and Glutes and 10 minutes of abs using the abs his dvd. I will do 30 minutes in my stationary bike too. We have to move those legs. Maybe I will do a rest day tomorrow. I have to do body max and I still remenbering the tired in the next day after the first time I did it. I was soo tired. Have a nice day and happy holidays.

Although I can use the same weights as Cathe in PUB, I certainly don't look like her! LOL.

Yes, Body Max is a tough one, but it's my all time favorite for some reason.

I plan on working out EXTRA HARD on Friday, Sun and Monday since I have off of work. Maybe it will help me eat right this holiday!

I have 23 to 28 off of work. I am going to work hard during those days. We are going to resist lot of eating temptations during those days. Anyway if we gain weight we will lose it soon with the hardcore series. I am so anxious to know what workouts are now in the way to the replicator.Patience.

Good morning, Maria (that's easier for me to remember). what is on the schedule for you today?

Today was PLB and 200 walking lunges. I have never done walking lunges, and I was kind of excited. I got PLB done and started out and by 100 I was burning! I managed to do 160. I just wouldn't have been able to do more than that with good form and I didn't want to hurt myself. I was happy with 160. Now I've got a goal to beat that the next time. I bet I am REAL sore tomorrow! LOL

Hi Gayle 160 walking lunges is a great number.Today for me is a rest day. I think I deserve it after three weeks of this rotation. Tomorrow I will do Body Max to start the 4 week of the rotation. I am so happy. I am going to do the whole 4 weeks of my first Cathe 's rotation. Have a nice day.
