Any results from Eating for Life?

Hi everyone,

I saw great results following the Fat Flush Plan but wanted some more variety. Anyone have positive/negative results following Bill Phillips' recipes in his Eating for Life cookbook?

Thanks!

Hi!

I just got the book a couple of weeks ago. I must say I've "fallen off the BFL wagon" because of the holidays, but getting back on track. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know I've made a few of the recipes from the book (spaghetti & meatballs, and beef stew I can remember for sure) and they were great! My husband thought they were wonderful, which is alot considering he does most of the cooking around here (he's better at it than me, or at least more creative). Back to your original question...no results yet as it hasn't been long enough, but I think armed with this book it will make the program very doable and maybe even easy. I did great the two weeks before Thanksgiving! Still paying for that day though!

Good Luck!
Nicole :)

I have found most of them to be terrific. I did note that some of the desserts are higher in carbs than his normal recipes. Some of my favorites and I might have the names a bit off:

Turkey Meatloaf and Mashed Potatoes
Lettuce wraps
Greek Pin wheels (I add protein to these)
BFL cheesecake
Zesty Italian Chicken
Hearty Beef Stew
Beef & Barley Stew

I was off the workout wagon for about six months and got back on BFL after gaining some weight and bodyfat. But I was still pretty close to goal weight. My 1st 12 weeks I lost 5.5 lbs, 2.25" in waist, hips and abs and went from a tight 5 to a loose 3.
